This reminds me of somthing my pot-head buddys call me up at 4am to scream at me that it (the freaky colored man on a disk) is chasing them down the street..
Fun little exploit with Ego Storm (with the Manifestation advantage); if you untoggle it before it runs its course it doesn't gain a cooldown and you can simply restart it. As long as you have energy you can have it up. Reported it, so enjoy it while it lasts.
Speaking of cooldowns, I do wish they were relative to how much of a maintain/charge/duration the power went through on the last use, rather than Always Full Cooldown. Getting a single tick out of a power before it goes on a 15s cooldown is infuriating.
By the way, did anyone have problems with maintained powers last night? I had Ego Storm working very unreliably (sometimes it needed two button taps to fire, sometimes it would do nothing and just go on cooldown, sometimes it just wouldn't go off period) and a teammate with Iron Lariat had similar problems.

the pink smoke give you energy, if you hit max energy that's when you take massive damage.
so the point of that fight is to use your most energy using skills possible to keep from getting a full bar of energy. reallllly tough when you spend the rest of the game leaning ways to always have energy.

Also for the last guy in lemurian crisis the damage you take is proportional to how much energy you have. Only use your energy builder to get enough for the next attack.
when i did it the first time. spent like 30minutes maybe an hour on that area alone. then googled. then finally won.
did it today helping others out, me and another knew the deal, i spammed mindful reinforcement whenever i was near full energy, he just spammed pyre, and we killed the guy in like 30 seconds.

nah, don't even turn on EB, since you're contsantly getting free eng anyways.
also since we're talking lemurian crisis, use flares on the closest sonar, then heal the boxes as the bots drain them. constant supply/short trip until the box despawns.
i wish there were some unlimited maintain skills. that would be rad. closest i get is if i turn my EB off, I can time my two gun mojo to be a constant stream of bullets (you let go/push the skill right when the maintain bar empties and disappears)

I have a muni character, with Dex/Rec superstatted and Regen as my passive. I logged in yesterday to finish off a quest, and got my ass handed to me each engagement. Unless something is still not working correctly, I'm gonna have to burn this retcon and completely rebuild my guy. Any suggestions?

I don't think this is what is killing your build, but ranking up your EB (Gunsingler) seems like a waste. The gains are much higher from ranking up (or getting an advantage for) just about any other power. Gatling Gun, Assault Rifle or Shotgun are much better places to put those points.
If you rank up Gatling Gun or Shotgun you won't need "strategy" for even level mobs because they will just be dead. You don't need the enrage from Mofo, you can just Gunsling till you have enough energy and then mow them down with ranked up Shotgun or Gatling. Henchies die fast and then finish off the Villain however you like.
[Edit] And I guess with some Villain/Master/Super you will have to block a bit. But with Regen at rank 2 and Rec superstated you are definitly not using a gimped build.
Man you went for the total soldier build. I went for the smooth mother fucker build.
And yesterday I discovered that not only do I get a second outfit but those outfits can reflect onto whatever active Build I have. So now, just by pressing F5 or F6, I can switch between orange pin stripe zoot suit with sunglasses, slick backed hair and a fedora and the purple pimp I've posted. The only thing that doesn't change is the color of abilities. The purple rocket boots on the orange outfit kinda looked silly so to balance it out I made the Force Shield orange, so that looks silly on the purple outfit.
I need a green outfit if we get a third outfit choice.

I'm down, but I have a D&D game Saturday, so it would have to be tonight or Sunday. However, I do already have a level 16 sorceror I could bring in whenever. I believe he has the free respec still, so I could switch from Primal Majesty to whatever aura we pick.
They should lower the advantage cost for lower tier powers (or at least the energy builder), there's hardly ever a reason to get them.
I don't know - the lower tier powers on average don't seem any less powerful then most higher tier stuff. Anything truly powerful (like Force Cascade or Gigabolt) come with balancing disadvantages like casting cost or cooldowns. Really, alot of the tiering seems to be more about staggering our access to all the powers over later tier stuff being "the best". Most of my guys find themselves relying on the same powers they had at 11-17 when they are at endgame.
Thank you for the input. So, I'll try dropping Bullet Ballet and Mini Mines. Get Orbital Cannon and rank 3 Regeneration (may be overkill) and redistribute my Adv points.
Pre-patch I could handle 4+ mobs and Regen would keep me up, I'd end fights with ~60% HP and close to full energy. Putting out damage wasn't an issue, it's still not now. Now, after the mob damage fix, I'm dying very quickly. Admittedly, I didn't play very long yesterday due to frustration of dying where I was surviving before, I think six deaths and I called it a night.
