the last ufc i watched was on wednesday night, and there were like three AMAZING fights that all went to decision.
also, i would rather watch a thirty second fight that was interesting, and move on to/already have seen other really awesome fights, than spend money on a single fight as embarrassingly boring as Mayweather's tend to be.
because he is a sissy bitch who i want to set on fire.
I was just going to watch for Kimbo but the Rampage-Rashad back and forth and the other fighters are going to make it very entertaining.
Marquez gave Pacquiao a run for his money twice and May flattened him. Getting them to fight has nothing to do with May chickening out and everything to do with the two of them making sure they get paid.
And don't feel too bad for Marquez. He put up a decent fight and he got the biggest pay day of his career stepping up two weight classes.

I like the technical aspects of boxing the most though, so seeing him take control and keep his defense so tight is much more awesome for me than seeing an in-boxer or a brawler go at it.
I do agree that a boxer would have a shitty time in MMA, but anyone who uses that as an excuse for why one is better than the other is a dummy. In fact, if the only entertainment you derive from fighting is how "real" it is (in the sense of people getting hurt as much as possible), you are boring!

also, mayweather would do well in the ufc because he is an excellent boxer, but he would also have to gain some weight. ufc doesn't have a division light enough to suit him comfortably, which means someone like, say, bj penn, who is a fair boxer in his own right and has some of the best jujitsu in the UFC would utterly demolish him.
