Uncharted 1 remains one of my favorite games.It did everything so well that it remains the sole game that I have replayed more than 5 times. I beat that game 100%, on all difficulties, everything.

Playing through the demo over and over sent me back to Uncharted. I don't know if I was just going through a tough time or what, but god I sucked when I first played this game. Maybe I just didn't get it. Maybe it was some magic words from this thread:

Alternatly run at target spraying bullets without aiming and punch once. Steel fist ftw.

I played the first one and got my ass handed to me repeatedly. Then something just clicked and I was squeezing off headshots like nobody's business. I guess it just takes time

Only do it for the Trophies and...later on, when there's a gameplay change. You'll know it when you see it.

My PS3 is coming tomorrow, my HDMI cable is coming later this week, my friend will drop off Batman and Uncharted 1 on Friday to help me break my system in. Then the sale next week to get UC2 and some other stuff.

Ha, I'm well aware of the change. I never thought I'd buy a PS3, so I read all up on Uncharted. When my friend told me he had played this game call Uncharted, I said

He hadn't yet, but we both hated Far Cry and had a good laugh about it.
The monster/zombie/alien things aren't that hard, you just have to remember to not punch them, and keep your MP40 loaded. The hard part is when you have to fight them and mercs with laser sights at the same time. Keeping cover is a bad idea when there's a monster coming at you, and running and gunning is a bad idea when there are lasers on your face
Just being lucky to get a freeze. Personally, I never got one, despite playing the game twice over in one day. Frankly it's amazing that my PS3 just didn't decide to give up there.

But they're also both so fantastic that he really should totally forget about the other one while he's playing the first just so he can really get into it and play the hell out of it before going to the next excellent experience.
in australia, my go-to store (jb-hifi) has no explicit date up yet and i've gotten games early there a couple of times now. it'll still probably be after the us release, but as long as i get it next week i'll be happy
As much cool shit as the big cities get (events like these, awesome movies only showing in select theaters, etc.), it's still not worth actually living in one of those places. So in the end you got off better.
