His art was incredible, and the place Robinson was going with Mon-El was really exciting, but now it seems like none of it will actually come to fruition in an organic fashion.
I don't like Mon-El wearing a differently colored Superman crest. Wonder what the justification for that is gonna be...
his last name is 'el' (or he chooses to go by Mon-El at least). El is the family name and the Superman logo is the crest for the House of El. Ergo, he's wearing the logo for his family. There's no other real justification required.

Actually he says he's English to explain his accent.

I take what Martha Kent says over anything Mon would say to cover up his accent, she helped give Clark his disguise and knows what's what, so Hooray America anyway just for being great, doggonit (accents in comics always annoy me, like Emma Frost is supposed to have a british accent? I guess Betsy Braddock is supposed to as well? Jean Paul-Valley?)

Well, people speak differently.
I'd rather have it not be obvious than have it over the top, like Rogue and Gambit

Solution: Have their words in their word balloons be spelled the British way, so color would be spelled colour, center = centre, and instead of asking for a pen they ask for a biro.

They can't even proofread properly as is. You're asking too much
Well, now I wanna know why he goes by Mon-El when that isn't his name. Does he not know that in the 21st century?
He disowned Daxam when he left, so it makes sense that he also disowned his old name and went with the name Superman gave him.
Anyway, I think Matt Sturges is a far better writer than Willingham but JSA All Stars' lineup looks lacklustre to say the least. Sure I like most of them, don't like only a couple of them (especially Magog) but they're not really the characters I read JSA for.

I read the books for the generational and family aspect that no longer exists, which means I'll just ignore it all together. As much as I love Ted, Alan, and Jay, I also really love Cyclone and Star Girl.
And how about James Robinson writing Blackest Night JSA?
For all asking why Batman & Robin #7 isn't in the solicits for December, I offer a big shrug. Don't ask me....

Is Cameron Stewart a punctual artist on his other work?

I wonder if Tan is late on his work and it pushed Stewart's back. Or it could be that missing week (but B&R ships the first week of the month anyway....).
Batman could solve this mystery, but he's not here anymore. The perfect excuse......

Holy shit, a holiday issue with a good talent line-up? Awesome!
Outside of that, there's not much grabbing my attention. Having Vartox show up in Power Girl is a stroke of mad genius, Lobo looks neat, Tom Mandrake on Outsiders is pretty cool, and the Creeper hardcover, featuring the Steve Ditko material, is a must-buy.

Adam Strange showing up in WONK #10, that makes a lot of sense actually.
Very sad.
His art was incredible, and the place Robinson was going with Mon-El was really exciting, but now it seems like none of it will actually come to fruition in an organic fashion.

Or something equally stupid.
Potentially, a mind control device.
Or a rebellion symbol.
Stupid. But I think we'll actually find out next week.

His name is Lar Gand. He's a Daxamite. Thought he was Superman's big brother or something. You can read the whole thing on Wikipedia if youd like.
He landed with amnesia (I think). He crashed on a Monday, and he had the same powers as Kal-El, so he became Mon-El.
It's almost certainly going to be in Superman: Secret Origins, so look for it there.
He disowned Daxam when he left, so it makes sense that he also disowned his old name and went with the name Superman gave him.

And how about James Robinson writing Blackest Night JSA?
Nothing really special or two surprising, beyond the fact that all of the blackest night tie ins to the normal ongoings seem to be two parters.
Looking forward to the REBELS trade.
Also, the Mon-El collection is surprisingly massive. That went from a maybe to a definitely.
It's probably due to the missing week. I bet it'll double ship in January.
Alternately, if you have a twitter, Robinson is normally pretty good about answering fan questions on things like that.

Mainly because the Batman snowman got run over by snowman Flash.
That, or he's glaring at Red Tornado. I can't tell.
Nah, he's looking at the little kid checking out Huntress, solemnly intoning, "Think clean thoughts chum."
