Problem sharing Mac's internet connection with my 360

Folks,

I have a small problem with getting the internet onto my 360 from my Macbook Pro.

First, my setup:

1. Cable modem
2. Airport Extreme
3. Macbook Pro
4. Xbox 360

I followed the steps in this guide, and it seems to be working ok. I can get on live, but have trouble connecting to certain games and with voice communication.

When I test the connection, it says something about my NAT being moderate.

I have no idea what this means, but I assume it has something to do with my router?

I've searched, but nothing seems to be working.

Any ideas?

Not totally sure if this is the answer, but usually the way to get around Nat problems is port forwarding.

I realized that maybe I didn't give enough info in my first response. Here is the guide for your router and live. You may need to open different ports for different games though. You also probably need to set your xbox to have a static ip. Theres a guide to that in that link also.

yes forward the correct ports, I assume you are using the ethernet port on the macbook to share a connection? It should work just fine when you open the ports up in the Airport Utility
