Looks like a decent week.

The HD systems get Zombie Apocalypse on their digital distro services.

PS3 gets Katamari Forever.

360 gets the newest in the Halo franchise as Halo 3 ODST comes out. Should be a hit.

PSP gets another great RPG, as Shin Megami Tensei Persona comes out for the little system.

Aion comes out for PC, but while I have seen it mentioned in news, I am unsure about what it is.

Interestingly the Wii has a couple of games that could potentially be quite awesome:

TMNT Smash-Up is a smash-bros-like game developed by a team of people who had worked on Smash Bros Brawl as well as some former Team Ninja folks.

SpyBorgs is a game from Capcom that looks to be like quite a solid and well-made brawler that looks to be even more fun when played in local multiplayer. It's another Wii exclusive that Capcom is putting time and effort into making a quality product, so if you're in the market for what could be an excellent 3rd person brawler (especially with >1 player) SpyBorgs could fit the bill.

Halo and persona all the way baby. Cannot fucking WAIT. I find myself playing the psp more than my actual system these days. (damn you Dissidia and Crisis Core) and Persona looks to steal my life even more. Dammit.

I've never played a persona game before. I kind of want to see what the fuss is about, but all the videos I've seen so far seemed rather dull. (Not a big JRPG person, but have been known to love a few.) Not sure I want to get a game that is all about teenage relationships.

Also I'd like to finish off prototype and platinum Uncharted before Demon's Souls gets here.

Let me tell you about Demon's Souls....
I’ll tell you what happens in Demon’s Souls when you die. You come back as a ghost with your health capped at half. And when you keep on dying, the alignment of the world turns black and the enemies get harder. That’s right, when you fail in this game, it gets harder. Why? Because fuck you is why.

Hah. Wow. Yeah no. Persona is nothing like that. Persona 3 is about the world coming to an end and the teens trying to save it while people are slowly being killed and Persona 4 is actually a murder mystery. Theres just some awesome school stuff you can do in it. Its actually really damn fun and sometimes i prefer walking the school and talking to people to dungeon crawling.

But the original Persona games are completely different than how P3 and P4 play out.

P3 and P4 are much more accessible games than P1 was. I'm not sure how much the remake will change that, but it'll probably still be like that.

I'm in for the Persona 1 remake, and probably going to eventually snag Katamari Forever -- a few months down the line. The demo for it seemed a lot better than Beautiful Katamari was, though the idea behind the game is certainly quite played out by now.

Well, you can count on at least one sale from this guy here. :D

I'm mildly curious about Persona PSP, though I've found I have a love-hate relationship with SMT games. I'm also curious about Motorstorm Arctic Edge coming later this month, so I might wait and see for the time being.

On the plus side, when you play replays, the camera blurs from the speed of the ball being thrown, apparently.

Sadly, I'm afraid I will be waiting for the sequel; White College Waterboy Experience - The Adam Sandler Edition.

I picked up Fallen Earth sort of on a whim last night on Steam, partly after reading some of the forum thread here, and it's pretty great. It's a Sci-Fi MMO set in a wasteland version of the Grand Canyon. The game is huge, and I'm really enjoying the real-time shooting and melee combat, even though the whole thing has a roughshod feel to it. Although at first it seems like a shameless Fallout clone, it's actually quite a bit different, and I'm pleasantly surprised.

That's right, I almost forgot about that whole James Patterson thing. I thought I had heard somewhere that instead of a "true" adventure game like Hotel Dusk, it'll be more of a mystery novel mixed with a hidden-object game, like Millionheirs kind of was.

Oh my god, I didn't know Katamari Forever was coming this week. I saw the Prince dicking around at PAX, but didn't see a demo-oh. Right. Now I remember the demo. It was like one little kiosk and I was too enamored by their business cards (I took like 30 of them) and forgot about the demo and then rushed over to see the Prince. :( WELL THEN. I need to read more on this version. I haven't played Katamari in a good while.
