I never really 'got' Exit Music (for a film) until recently. Now I love it. I've been listening to OK Computer more now...I want to say OK Computer is my favorite because I like my fav tracks on it more than my fav tracks on The Bends, but the Bends has more tracks that I love. So it's quality vs. quantity in a way.

CAN'T DECIDE WHICH IS MY FAV. AHHHH. It's not really important but I need to know somehow.

I am very much enjoying Radiohead. I got In Rainbows just to see what they were like, and am slowly working my way backwards through their catalogue. Favourite songs so far are All I Need, House of Cards and Myxamatosis.

When I bought OK Computer the guy at the music shop was like Oh man good choice, I'm a huge fan, oh dude you should get this double cd of these two albums from a while back blah blah blah it's hard to find but so awesome blah blah blah

He was really enthusiastic. I just responded "Oh yeah? Cool."

Ok I just tried listening to OK Computer.

I had to skip through half the songs because they were so goddamn vanilla and boring.

    Radiohead? More like Radiodead...boring.

    Yeah! Take that!

I've only ever listened to Kid A, Amnesiac and In Rainbows.

In Rainbows is one of my favourite albums ever but I don't care for the others.

it is a good thing that lots of people love radiohead (because they are fantastic, you see)

but when someone declares their love for radiohead and goes on to say that their favorite album is the bends, or that their favorite radiohead song is house of cards or whatever

it kind of weirds me out

I think I sometimes forget that people can be big fans of radiohead without necessarily agreeing with me about what albums and songs are their best, probably because many of my closest friends are really into radiohead and for whatever reason we all basically agree on that kind of stuff

The only downside to liking Radiohead is that you're lucky if you get to see them live once every 3-5 years.

I went to the same University as Thom Yorke. A couple of decades or so between us however. After visitng a few of the places he went to I can understand why he did some of the earlier stuff. There was a rumour that the lyrics for Creep were come up with in the loo of the Unions club. Probably a pack of lies, but I like to think that its true. It really was a horrible toilet.

Yeah, but usually when Radiohead is talked about, it turns into an indie discussion.

Or at least that's how I usually see it go. This thread could be different.

Also, if you don't watch The Big Fat Quiz of the Year you really should, it's awesome. I can't decide what's better, Thom Yorke talking, laughing, Noel Fielding's reaction, Jimmy Carr and Rob Brydon saying "The Radioheads," or Lilly Allen totally being owned by Jimmy Carr pointing out how In Rainbows made more money than their previous album after her little rant.

    Suck it, Lilly!
I like her music too though :(

I liked Karma Police. Then a few years later I heard all this about 'Radiohead best band EVAR' and I was like really? Then I got In Rainbows, and listened to it and I was like......Really?

I like the very first song on it! The rest are pretty good to ok.
