I just want to jump in and say that this is right up on the top of the list for me regarding best new show on TV.

There is a small pantheon of shows I look forward to every week. This is now one of them, no question.

Eh, its not tht good, enjoyable sure but Ed is the main reason I'm giving it a shot to become a must-see.

    Tonight's episode was pretty bad.

Just about as bad as the two or three episodes of glee that made me jump ship to this show.

Just about as good as the last two or three episodes that made me fall in love with this show.

The touching and completely random monologue by the boyfriend, followed by the hilariously inappropriate song made me laugh pretty hard.

Soo predictable, especially after the entire theme of the episode and of Shelly Long's character.

Manny is hilarious. Seeing him stroke his fake beard while talking about revenge was the best.

    I do love Manny.

Also, cool dad teeters so much within episodes. His east coast/west coast comment was just kind of annoying, but the whole "I've got Gloria!" thing was pretty hillarious.

I just hated the end and the resolution because I could see them coming from miles away.

I still want to see an actual finale to Married with Children but Eds physique doesn't lend itself to not eating for the past twenty years.

It has its moments as usual but yeah, the song was predictable.

I don't think a joke is necessarily bad just because you can see it coming. The reactions were still funny, as was the fact that everyone ended up getting the song stuck in their heads.

Fat gay guy and Ed are my favorite characters by far.

Also Manny's inquisitive looks made me laugh way too much

I've noticed Cam is a lot less gay than the initial episode, in the opening episode his voice is much more feminine than its been recently so perhaps they too thought he was a mite too stereotypical.

I just watched my first episode; it's not bad. I can't compare to previous episodes, obviously, but it got some good laughs, interesting characters, no laugh track (thank the gods,) and I think I'll be back next week. And every week until Lost comes back, then some decisions must be made.

It's on the same network as Lost. It's not like they're going to be on the same timeslot or anything.

I like the show and watch it each week, my main problem is with the "cool" dad. He is just TOO much most of the time. Some of the stuff is funny, but like last night his entire part was too annoying for me to watch almost.

Cool dad is like my favorite character. His obvious attraction to Gloria is awesome.

I agree. I thought they played it well the first episode when it turns out he's mocking the letter, but then they decided to drop the "Being funny" part of it and it just gets cheesy.
