How many of you guys want to bet that this will be picked up by Fox News(Noise?) and become some kind of brainwashing tool for Obama or something stupid like that.
From what we've seen, the vehicle sections in SP look to just be set-pieces. Awesome set-pieces, but set-pieces nonetheless.

I cracked up a bit when I read a comment about the new trailer that said
"I heard there's a mission where you have to steal a radar dish from the museum of science and put it on top of the Washington Monument"
But I only laughed because I just finished Fallout 3 a few weeks ago. It was definitely the first game I thought of when they showed that part at the end, though.
I think they've (IW) gone saying in an interveiw there will be vehicles in MW2 multiplayer just like there were vehicles in CoD4 multiplayer.
All those vehicles are grounded of course and are not drivable, but the interview question was in regards to the snowmobiles not being drivable and only present as destroyable static props/objects on the map.
my boner snapped in half at the mere sight of the minigun lock n' load on that humvee
Oh, look. A turret-section.
Great.
infinty ward do fantastic "turret" sections
the same guys who did a turret section with a mark 19 grenade launcher, the chopper's minigun on "heat", not to mention the AC-130 section
turret sections in these games are just massive power trips with ridiculously powerful weaponary
These are absolutely my least favorite parts of Call of Duty games.
I love them all. They're fucking intense. I just replayed the last vehicle part on MW arcade mode to waste some time and I don't think I breathed the entire time. Not to mention the turret sections in COD aren't usually very long and you end up on your feet pretty quickly anyways.
Christ, I've never been to pumped for a game in my life. I'm almost bored of MW, my squad and I have taken up creating really really dumb classes just to waste time ,scorpion, double tap , bandolier, martydom.
Or M60, double tap, grip. Funny thing is when we fuck around with dumb classes, we usually kick ass.
Oh yeah our other thing. M14 w/noob tube + overkill + G3 w/noob tube + martydom. Our rule was "Only direct hits with noob tube"
We still, won every fucking match with the odd indirect noob tube kill.
Looks like chaining Heli's is gone (which is a good thing IMO)

Does is matter if you die? For example, if I used the Sentry Gun and died, would I still be able to use the Care Package, then UAV?

The AC130 section was great. Showed the detachment that can be experienced when controlling firepower from that range. The chatter during the sequence helped with the feeling as well.

That will be a good thing. And it probably makes getting the 11 kills for an AC130 not as bad as one might expect. I'm so used to waiting to die to call in my heli that I rarely get over 7-9 kills in a row when I'm doing well.

Wow, somehow I never knew that heli kills helped your killstreak. Damn.
This also means that the AC130 is probably relatively to get with proper killstreak reward selection. Predator missile is a guaranteed 1-2 kills, and then you've got either the chopper or precision airstrike at 7 which should be good for another 2-4, so if you can make those first 5 you've got the 130, considering you somehow don't fail out of control.

Turret sections are as bad as stealth missions and escorts.
Just stop doing the damn things already, they always suck.
All Ghillied Up was a stealth mission and One Shot, One Kill was an escort mission. You didn't like those? Death from Above and Shock and Awe were turret sections. How much of the single player did you actually enjoy?

The Mk. 19 bit was boring. My new on-rails measure for the series is Black Cats.
Yeah, that was a fucking sweet segment. I've yet to shoot down 40 zeros though and I can't go back and try being that I'm 3/4 through on veteran and stuck storming the Japanese castle now.
I gave up trying to finish it on Veteran for now. Burn Em' Out was godawful, I can't wait until Heart of the Reich and Downfall.
Also, The Sum of All Zeros is way more difficult than it should be. To the point of rail-shooter sections, I have no problem with them if they're handled well. the Mk. 19 in 4 was boring, but at least it made sense and worked. I can see the Humvee section playing out fine.
But dammit, I was hoping for an M2, not a minigun. Bleh.

I hope the humvee part is as cool, or cooler than the humvee part in Black Hawk Down (the game).
I loved those missions.
I don't know, so far there's been nothing that has made me question this title at all.

I don't know about you guys, but I'm about 75% sure that I'll be running a UAV reward on every single class I have.

Looking back, not much at all.
Single-player in Call of Duty is usually cinematic but rarely fun from a gameplay perspective. They do things with single-player that would be regressive in Quake 2.
Of course, I still completed both CoD2 and CoD4 with full achievements, cursing the game and myself every step of the way.

Seriously, what the hell
Turret sections are not like escort missions in that they can be totally sweet
CoD4 proved it
This is not up for debate

You can do the same thing with airstrikes.
Looking back, not much at all.
I'm sorry what was that? Infinity War could pull 'em off.
If you want vehicles in a modern war setting, go play Desert Combat.

Some people have BALLS OF STEEL and refuse to play on anything less than the most difficult setting, and then they complain about dying a lot.
