Unlocking my Samsung SGH-T509 for use with At&t

Hi all. So I've been using a Razr with my At&t service since I broke my Sony Ericsson W5801's screen. I just found my old Samsung SGH-T509 that I had when I was under the T-Mobile service and would much rather use that phone instead of this purple Razr. The problem is that I'm not too smart when it comes to this unlocking deal. I've googled online trying to hopefully find a guide on how to unlock it and set it to AT&t's service but I haven't had any luck. I was hoping that maybe someone could help me through this process so that I don't mess up my Samsung phone and get stuck with this silly Razr.

Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

If you're super worried hit up a cellphone shop that does unlocking. For <20 you can get it unlocked and debranded so you can be rid of shitty proprietary Tmobile firmware. (posting this
    from my jailbroken unlocked iPhone)

You can also call T-mobile and tell them you are going overseas and you need your phone unlocked so you could use it there. They'll do it for free.
