Meh, that'll teach me to read the steam news. Maybe if they are "upgrading" their servers they won't crash when Borderlands drops later, one can hope anyway.
I have an XML parser now so it shows the latest Steam News from Valve (which you can comment on), and the website is now iPhone friendly.
Oh god......what have you done. I'd suggest some sort of ...I don't know..... It's just that Steam News tends to have alot of stuff going through it daily, so much so that our posts are going to get lost in the clutter. Maybe if our Posts get prioritized to the top of the page, and then the valve feed follows after them? Not sure how long the cutoff would be. A week before our stuff drops off the front page...2 weeks? All in all a good idea, but Steam's feed is going to take over the frontpage.

Hells yeah. Lost my copy awhile ago, didn't think I'd get the chance to finish it off.
Also, the exchange rate now is fucking sweet. I'm going to snatch up as many games off Steam as I can over the next few months, and build myself up a decent backlog.

My Steam backlog is freaking insane and I don't know when I'm going to get into any of it.
Yeah. Only mods that require modifying the exe won't work.
AFAIK all the important mods/collections (STALKER Complete, AMK, Oblivion Lost etc) work fine with it. What you can't do with Steam is choose a specific patch version though, in case some mod requires an older version.
Used it with Stalker Complete without a problem.

For anyone who hasn't played STALKER, 5 bucks is an awesome deal for it. Along with the mods, it's like getting 2-3 full games for 5 bucks. Highly recommended.
Don't forget Wolfenstein, which is $5 and originally ran less than a meg (although the Steam version is bundled with DosBox so it'll likely be a little larger).
Deals like this Stalker one are equal parts awesome and insidious. It's so cheap that I get halfway through thinking "Oh hey, I always heard good things about that game, it looks pretty cool and I should really check that ou-" and I've already bought it without realising what just happened.

Now I don't know what bizzaro land they're living in, but last I checked 13 is greater than 5. I tried to buy STALKER on the store with my paypal account, and I had 13 bucks in there, and when I went to go buy that Stalker game, said I didn't have enough funds. That was retarded. It wanted me to add a credit/debit card.
