so I have now a druid, rogue and paladin at 80, and a warrior at 76 and every other class at or just above 60.
what class should I level next? dk, hunter, mage, shaman, priest, or warlock?
I've enjoyed leveling my DK and hunter through Hellfire up to 63 or so, shaman (enhancement anyway) has me curious. My first character to 60 was a mage so it would be nice to pick that up more or less exactly where I left off. And I know probably the least about warlocks so I would like to play one to understand them better.
Priest is probably the only class I don't really want to level, the only thing that I would really want to do is heal as disc, but levelling as disc would probably be bad, and I don't feel like wasting another 1k on dual spec on yet another character. Would leveling 60-80 as disc be as terrible as it sounds?

I leveled my priest as holy. It wasnt too bad actually, if you get the talent that improves the speed / damage of smite and the new smite glyph. Make sure to get spirit tap.

Most of the way, it's honestly not that bad---however, I personally got burnt out on leveling disc at about 73 (some of which has to do with the spec, some of which has to do with how long it takes to get a level at that point). I tried switching to shadow to get myself to 80 but I don't really like shadow. Feels like being a slightly less interesting warlock to me.
I nearly put dual-spec on my 72 priest to give her a shadow spec for leveling but pulled out at the last second and gave it to my Paladin. (Holy shit did that sound dirty :winky:)

This sounds exactly what I am thinking regarding Leveling as shadow
Looking at some of the fresh 80s across a few servers spec has less influence on leveling than I thought.

I just got back in after a few months off, and I'm going to contribute to my altoholism by rolling another blood elf. Anyone have any recommended horde servers (not pvp)?
Yeah, it's pretty nice when you're doing an instance and you're the only tailor.
Beside that, I've farmed for it near Aludr'Thar (the slightly lower platform with the cauldrons), but I so rarely farm for frostweave, I can't be too much help.
End on
I wish that someway, somehow, that I could save every one of us

I can vouch that the Scarlet Crusade area is delicious for farming cloth. The tight packed mobs around the cathedral are wonderful if you have the AoE/ability to LoS.

I assume it's that little island in the north west.
Sorry for not clarifying, but it is very much this one. I like to take my moonkin there and cause AoE havoc. I must say the convenience of the cathedral walls brings me much joy.
I didn't check, because it asks for all my info and everything before letting me customize race and sex etc, and the FAQ almost made it sound as if the character customization would come after a completed transfer.

You customize at the character select screen, so yes, it takes place after the transfer.
You complete the transfer, then when you log in it brings up the normal character customization screen ala making a brand new toon
Who has a super secret spot to farm Frostweave? I'm at 429 and just ran outta my stock.
The best place I have found is out in Sholazar Basin right in front of Freya (I think thats her name? The tall chick casting green shit at undead all day).
The Undead there have a ridiculously short respawn time (like the faster you kill them the faster they respawn type of shit), and can drop up to 4-6 cloth each plus random greens/blues.
So, I dont think I've ever had this done to me, or myself as a group lead to other people.
My mage dinged 80 on Sunday. Got into a pug for 10man VoA. I let the dude know that my gear isn't great, but I can put out like 2.4k on a boss and not die in a fire. Also there are no mages. Lead said that's fine, join group.
Whispers me like 5 minutes later, "Lol sorry been getting wispers that your gear is terribad," and then kicks me. Normally I just would've moved on, but I put fourth the effort to let him know that, yeah I'm running this for a reason, but I can carry my own wieght. So I send a whisper back, "I already told you that my gear wasn't anything great, but I CAN carry my weight. If you had chosen to cut me after a failed attempt on the hard boss because I was found lacking, fine...but you didn't. So whats the deal?"
Ultimately he's very unwilling to budge on the gear, then I get a reason that they are already carrying 2 people.
???
Searia on Lightninghoof for those wanting an armory check. (at work, otherwise I'd provide a link.)
Also, I put on like 3.4K on the 25man.

Not even good elitest asses. Most of them just make blind use of gearscore.
I still take pretty savage pride that a guy who used to run great PUGs on SC hasn't had a successful VOA or Naxx clear since he started gearchecking. He keeps stepping up his requirements, thinking he's just set them so low that bads are still slipping in, but his 2500 gearscore VOA still couldn't kill adds on Emalon to save their lives. It never fails to come up that there are guilds on the server with alts wearing Starcaller and Astral Walker titles with gearscores as low as 1900, and this chucklefuck can't get TOC geared players through Thaddius.
Gearchecking is the worst thing ever. Random fuckbags see semi-serious pug raids LFM and saying they'll be gear checking. Which is fine for ToC or Ulduar or whatever, but then you get these shitbirds who don't even know what they're looking for just gear checking cause they think it makes them cool.
LF3M heroic VH! YOU WILL BE GEARCHECKED!!!
EWom on
Whether they find a life there or not, I think Jupiter should be called an enemy planet.
With all the nerfs, on 0 tower leviathan, expecting everybody to be in the zone and online is being excessively demanding. Only 10 people need to actually know the fight, and all they need to do is run away if they're being targeted and push buttons otherwise. The other 15 people just need to push buttons. It's not even a big deal WHICH buttons.
This current rage has seemed to be taking my server by storm. Its terrible too, because I've run a metric fuckton of pugs without needing to gear check. If we wipe in a pug that's when I start pulling up recount and seeing who is my weak link. But I never expected fully geared Naxx guys for my OS/Naxx pug.
Whoever made the gearscore add on needs to put a segment in that tells people to stop trying to be elitist assclowns.
Busting out a ToC25 Heroic or some shit? Yeah, try and have some requirements.

Is king dicknose a rotting corpse?
I just hope Carrot Top is Garrosh. He's red, ripped to shit, and TALKS LIKE THIS.

They do wonderful things with cg these days

Forsake, Warlock of Stonemaul
Can't you just harvest it from humanoids? Otherwise the Valkyr/Scarlet crusade area in icecrown is good. Plus you can bang on dailes there.
You could also run UP/UK heroics with yer guild and call dibs on frostweave drops.
That's all I've got.

The dragonblight one or the island fortress?
Humaniods drop cloth
He means just killing them normal like.
(Since tailors have an increased chance.)
Which Scarlet area ya talking about Anialos?
Forsake, Warlock of Stonemaul
I never got the option.
Uhh did you check?
You essentially create an entire new character. You pick the race (though you're limited by class, obviously) gender and facial features
EDIT: Actually I'm positive you can, as my once female Night Elf Druid is now a male Tauren.

Yeah I read that as server transfer.
I am going to go to sleep now.

I do love the link achievement people I fooled when I made that macro instead of the date it gave them other info like suck it
