The best part is that he combines them. He doesn't just copy attacks - he mixes them (every single Brave attack and one HP chain is a mix).
And not only are they mixed attacks, but they come with accessory bonuses built into the skills.

The Job system in FFX-2 was great. It had the ATB as well AND you could change jobs mid-battle. I just wish they had taken that battle system and repackaged it with a decent RPG.

Okay, I have a problem. In FFVI Advance, I just CANNOT get the Ward Bangle from the banquet with Gestahl. I've found 24 soldiers, and answered all the questions correctly (according to at least 3 FAQs). Does it have something to do with fighting the Imperial Elites? One of the FAQs made it sound like you can fight each one at the table, but after I beat one group they all just talk, there's no more offer to fight.

All I can think is bad answers to the questions.

Also, does he even give you a ward bangle? I thought it was whatever that thing is that restores hp as you walk.

edit: are you taking a break? That gives you some points, too.

He's fighting the Elites, so yeah.
Tintinnabulum is what you're thinking of.

All the FAQs say that a perfect score will get you an item that reduces encounters by 25%.

My only problem with the new Kingdom Hearts game so far is how odd the transition to Disney seems in it. I just got to Agrabah, and they havn't bothered explaining multiverse, or other worlds or why I go to them other than to kill Heartless.

Other than that, the actual grid system and combat I love. Graphics are superb for the system too. Makes me remember how much I love Kingdom Hearts.

While I have several complaints against KH 358/2's story, I'll be damned if the game isn't fun as hell. They got everything concering the gameplay right considering the system it's on. Even the camera hasn't given me much trouble outside of
The Giant Purple Darkside in beast's castle in the narrow hallway, not a good place to put a giant enemy -_-

I'm surprised with quite how much I'm enjoying it. Playing my friends import copy didn't give me enough of a taste.

The camera gave me issues once we got to Neverland and I learned how to fly. Try hunting down tiny flying Heartless up and down cliffs. >_>

Also Xion is my favourite original KH female character. Not like that's a particular difficult hurdle to make, but hey. Small victories.

Protip: replace the 72-pin ($5 on ebay) and clean your games with rubbing alcohol. Does wonders. Most of my NES games start up with no issues.

Alternatively, disable the 10-NES lockout chip, as that is what most often causes the screen flashing.

I did this procedure with my NES. It's not a terribly good description of the task you will be doing but once I got it open I figured out what I was doing. Essentially, the little connectors have lost their sprung and you're re-springenning them so they push up firmly against the cartridge leads.

    Works awesomely now.

I remember playing the Origins version of FFI when it came out. I formed my party, left the town, and started walking around the overworld to try out a battle or two.

My very first battle, I ran into some rats. "Rats? This shall be easier than forcefully requisitioning candy from an infant!"

I decided it'd be easy enough to just use physical attacks. Weak enemies; it'd take no time at all.

My entire team of 4 fucking character missed ALL their attacks 6 turns in a row. The odds of this, so far as I can tell, are virtually zero.

Needless to say, I turned the game off, removed it from my system, and have never played FFI ever again.

Are you forgetting how old FFV is? At that point, melodrama wasn't really a big thing in JRPGs. Most of them were still pretty light-hearted affairs.

If anything, FFV was more in that vein after they made a serious game in FFIV.

It's not like FFV was written after FFVI and VII.
