So, apparently Niinou (Etrian Odyssey, 7th Dragon, etc) is teaming up with Kinoku Nasu and Takeuchi (Type/Moon) to make a dungeon crawler action RPG based on some kind of crazy-ass bizarro Fate/Stay Night alternate universe.

Frankly, I find Saber's new transparent dress somewhat terrifying. And Lancer looks like... uh... well, he's certainly not getting any less gay. I wonder what's sparked this Fate cash-in as of late. Between this, Realta Nua, Unlimited Codes, and the new movie, they're really cashing in after about half a decade of ignoring it.

Although there are 128 Masters in this version of the war, so it's more of a giant clusterfuck with 7ish major servants more than just the usual thing.

The VN's a lot more complicated than that, but it's a start.
This game takes that premise, a few of the characters, and some of the designs and changes it into a much more massive battle royale with dozens of each class present. FSN Saber and FE Saber look basically identical for example, only FE's is red and they're have completely different personalities. Rin, on the other hand, (twintailed girl in red) is a Master in both and basically the same character.
I still have to finish UBW though, the game just freezes on me when
Sometimes I get minor issues like that for no apparent reason. I find that pressing the skip button to skip the line that crashes helps occassionally.
If that fails, remove the voice and RN patches if you're using them (should be the last two numbered ones) and put them in a separate folder until you get past that point.
Although Rider or Caster are tempting.
And you can only choose between the three PC classes. It's basically Saber - Easy, Archer - Normal, Caster - Hard.
Although given the engine, maybe in NG+ you can pick whoever.
Why would a game that just came out in Japan be on gamefly?
Because when people say "it's out" I assume they mean in the main land.
