New Wii update, anyone got HBC running?

Anyone got System Menu 4.2 running with Homebrew Channel 1.0.5, or did it delete it?
I'm not sure if I want to update my Wii; the boot2 EEPROM code is wonky and sometimes bricks consoles (as in, non-hacked consoles running only Nintendo authorized software). BootMii (which patches boot2) comes with its own EEPROM writing routine because they didn't like the code Nintendo shipped... Slashdot noticed the problem now coming to full light.
Sigh... maybe I can get something that'll let me use BootMii to update it... I'd have to install BootMii first though... and then it'd remove BootMii during the update....
