Let's Play 50 Cent: Blood on the Sand (update 10/14)
50 Cent: Blood on the Sand is a third-person shooting video game developed by Swordfish Studios and published by THQ for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. The game was released on February 20, 2009 in Europe and February 24, 2009 in North America and serves as the sequel to 50 Cent: Bulletproof.
50 Cent: Blood on the Sand focuses on rapper 50 Cent in a fictional plot. The game takes place in an fictional Middle Eastern country where 50 Cent and G-Unit perform a rap concert and instead of receiving the money they were promised, receive a priceless diamond covered human skull. The skull is eventually stolen by a militant group and G-Unit go on a journey to retrieve it at all costs.
That's right. You go on a journey. This is magical. This LP will be done co-op with my buddy Ty (Viaos, as you may know him if you saw my RE5 LP that I didn't post neener).

We're having a real glut of Let's Plays lately, aren't we? Not that I mind, I like LPs. I'm going to be watching this one for sure, it's going to be awesome.

Yes, I agree. I almost didn't post because of that and have been considering it still. I almost didn't post this. Maybe I should delete it..

No I think that was 50 Cent's first game
This one is actually sort of fun, from what I've heard
edit: also boy howdy this first video is super awful. Great job not editing out all that
I mean jeez that entire first video is completely pointless except for showing the intro and ten seconds of gameplay, the rest is just you figuring out how to do things and then failing, what the hell Kas
I played about half of this game when I came out, and I loved every minute of it. It's almost exactly like The Club, but it's completely ridiculous. Oh and it has a driving sequence and a bunch of helicopters you have to shoot down.
I'm honestly surprised this game didn't do better. It's almost a parody of the now endlessly-popular third-person shooter, and yet it still has solid gameplay.

Ssshhhhh. It's too genius for you to understand. I wanted you to grasp the awful of it.
Actually, I'm just lazy.

Last night, after I saw this video, I kept thinking about a bit where 50 goes "Yo! That bitch took my skull!" and then Groucho Marx says "Well then where do you keep your brain?"
So you're saying that two copies of BotS have been bought by you two?
I bought two copies for 14$ each new at my local Target. One of the other forumers said it was still 34 something at his. Look around for any that have it on clearance -- usually if they don't sell it at 34, they knock 10 more off in a bit, then another 10.. etc. Usually they go all the way down to 4.98 if nobody buys them. (I got Patapon 2 for that price, although to be fair it started a bit cheaper in the first place)
I called 4 different targets in my area. Two of them said they didn't have the game at all, one told me $42, and one of them kept telling me its a cd not a game.

Target's weird. The majority of the games that come in get flushed out of their stores within a few months, but some just sit there and linger FOREVER. I mean, you can still get Princess Natasha for the GBA at my Target.

Why the crap did I ever make my original name "cloudeagle?"
Question for you gents, this is something that hasn't come up with previous LPs since only one was co-op and we did that in like two days. If Ty is just too busy for a long amount of time for any recording, do I play it solo or simply wait for him? What would you suggest?

Well, Ty didn't get to see the intro and I'm playing on about a 3'' section of my monitor. So, it's a bit tough.
I am sure this joke has already been made, but I really wanted to do it.
I like it.

Doing shitty games or games that are mediocre has always been a Let's Play staple
It provides fodder for commentary and it is always enjoyable to see someone else suffer through an awful game that you would never play yourself

A shining example of my amazing LP qualities.

If I could get it for as cheap as he did, I might pick it up as well for shits and giggles.

Hahahaha. Yessss. You'll have fun with it if you do win, so don't feel too bad.
I'm telling you. If you're drunk enough, and have a few friends over with pizza or whatever. This game becomes the best game in the world.
It's essentially going to turn your apartment into MST2k.
