Well I really like the city I am in and its refreshing to be in a place with a skyline compared to a small town full of dbags. Anyways there were some problems transferring my transcript and by the time everything got straighten out I only was able to enroll in one class. I don't have a job but I am looking for something that wont interfere with school next term.
So the first thing I did when I moved here is join a beer club which I really like but I only made it to one meeting as my only class occurs at the same time of the meeting The good news is I made some friends over at the beer bar I go to. The bad news is that everything in Tampa is far apart. This place is 35 miles away and I usually only make the drive once a week. Usually when I call my friends they say they MAY drop by because they live like 3 miles from the bar but for me its a 40 min drive. No one also wants to come over here because its far and I don't blame them.
So I have no job, one class and the places I like to go are 35 miles away. It doesn't seem like there is anything where I live.
Do you have any hobbies, go hang out at the hobby place.
Yeah I have hobbies(brewing beer) and the closest bar is ybor. Which is about 12 miles and the parking is a pain. But yeah I am part of a homebrew club which I can't go to again until next term.
You're at USF are you not? Between the USF/Fletcher/Bruce B. Downs area and Ybor (especially if you like the bar scene) there should be no shortage of things to do in order to meet people
If you want to get down to Ybor without having to shiv 3 bums and light a car on fire to claim your parking spot, an easier and arguably safer way is to go and park at Channelside and take the trolley down to Ybor. I am pretty sure the trolley is either free or very very cheap. Parking is a few bucks per hour or something.

lol my hobby is drinking beer
Are there any breweries around or hobby shops that do brewing stuff. There are probably people there you can talk with your hobby about.
