I think it's more that they seem sorry for themselves, than the person they've killed through being.. hell I can't even think of a grand enough insult.

I remember Einhander. I don't think I ever talked to the guy, but this is incredibly sad to read about. Hope you're still refusing to do dishes wherever you are.

It's been said hundreds of times already but drunk drivers get off way to easy. My uncle was rear ended at high speed while he was parked and it messed him up enough for him to completely forget how to do everything. At 18 years old he had to learn to walk, talk, you name it, all over again. He was very intelligent at his age and had high promise, math and the like came easy to him. After the accident he has trouble doing the things that used to be so easy, and he's stuck in a manual labor position.
The woman who hit him got off with a fine and I think a year in jail. My grandmother was forcibly removed from the courthouse for causing an uproar.
