just thinking about indian food is making my poop liquify

i'll have a McAloo Tikki, and a Veg McCurry Pan, please.

There's this flash graphic on the site that has a montage of food close-ups with words scrolling across them.

One of the words is "delicious" next to a sandwich

then in front of some fried potatoes? is "hygenic"

to be fair, that sandwich does look delicious and the fries seem to be clean-ish.

I guess I should be concerned that they never use that word in advertising stateside.

I once catered an Indian wedding. Best vegetarian food ever. I don't know what any of that food was but I nicknamed one Indinachos because it was a bunch of circular-shaped things (I think fried vegetable slices) covered in a delicious sauce.

It didn't make me poo, I think you people are eating at the wrong kind of Indian places. Like the kind of Indians that want to get revenge on you for forcing them onto reservations.

my favorite bit is where they refer to broccoli and corn as "exotic" vegetables. granted, i've never been to india, but i figured that shit was available pretty much anywhere.

Good job on standing up to your parents. Hopefully you'll be able to get on speaking terms with them again in the future.

Seriously, fuck that "respecting me equals letting me make major life decisions for you" bullshit. I understand there's a cultural difference, and arranged marriages are the norm to some people, but holding someone's hand, golf-lesson-style, when they are fully-grown adults (and little kids do not get married, so you must be an "adult" by whatever standard he's using), and running their lives? That's not exactly respectful, is it? It's one thing to pick out a bride, but it's another to insist that the young man has no choice. It's not like you're a fucking prince and your marriage will avert a war or something.

Don't like her? What's wrong with her? She's beautiful, she's rich, she's got huge...tracts of land.
