its a typical Scunthorpe Problem, the sensors pick up on any nsfw words but do not discriminate if they are part of more complex words and as most curse words and swears are around 4 letters long this creates some grief.

I started it last night. Didn't finish, saved at the third match. Liking it so far.
Was working on a created Superstar earlier. Besides some ridiculous things that would not let me move layers around (I had some arm stuff I wanted over my gloves, but it wouldn't let me do it. Also, it wouldn't let me have my hair UNDER my mask for some insane reason), I was trying to go back to edit some stuff, and wound up losing my entire character.
Time to rebuild...

Why do you lose your attributes when you copy a CAW? Just into another attire slot. It just seems like a mean spirited trick. I just lost my 99 stats because I decided to copy the original attire into another slot instead of just saving it.

Yeah this is a bug.
The way around it is to change the costume and when you hit Submit Application, it asks you if you want to add it as an alternate attire. Copying just breaks the whole system.

Anyone have advice for Fatal 4(5?)-ways? I've been playing the CAS Road to WrestleMania, and that was the third match. Lost the first time-- I got fed up with all the break-ups and such. I was annoyed enough that I just wanted it to end, as I heard the story still progresses win or lose-- what a lie that turned out to be-- so I literally put down the controller, went to do some things, and when I sat back down was when someone got a pinfall.
I did win the second time I tried, but I considered that little more than a fluke, as I was sure it was going to be broken up-- I've had the ref register the three-count before Kane would break us up, and still had the match keep going. Craziness-- and just a touch infuriating. I'm also trying to remember if matches with no count-outs allow for rope breaks on TV.
So, yeah. Tips would be helpful. I can handle two-on-one easy enough, but four-on-one was a bit much.

My only major complaint with this game is that the difficulty is fucked up. On Normal it's easy as fuck. on Hard it's nie impossible.
Another thing I've got to bitch about is that you simply CANNOT throw people off the top of the Cell, through an announcer's table! That moment with Mankind and Taker in 1998 is legendary and I should be able to recreate the move! Assholes.
Another thing. The points system is fine for CAW, but for some reason, a guy's hair takes up, like almost half his points? WTF?
And I'm sick of fighting mono-brow tard-dude in my CAW's RtW storyline. He's a sore loser, we get it. Can we move on?

And it's done by first removing the 'case' and monitors from the table, and then throwing someone from the top down. Happened online one of the first times I played with Penny Arcade guys.

I could really use some feedback on my Create-A-Story. It's large, encompasses many matches, multiple storylines, all three brands, and has a lot of fun stuff for fans of wrestling!

LockedOn, I do appreciate it so. Somehow the ECW storyline starts out more compelling than any other, (in my mind at least) despite being the grunt of the brands. Maybe it's just that underdog spirit Tommy Dreamer's made a living off of.

Did they completely nerf submissions in the past few games? I've been playing a demo of SvR 2009 and you basically can't make someone tap, it seems. I figure it's just a quirk with it being a demo, but it'd be dumb if it wasn't.
Hm, I'm trying to think of CAWs to make. Right now I'm thinking of trying to make Faith from Mirror's Edge.
At the height of his Chappelle's Show popularity, my friend made a Rick James CAW. All of his moves were variations of slaps and his outfit was understandably garish.

Well, I've done a rough version of Faith. Just the actual appearance so far. No moveset yet. I spent wayyy too much time trying to do her eye tattoo, and it's still is pretty rough looking. I didn't even bother with the city tattoo. Just chose the tattoo design of the bars for that.
Hm, not sure what her moveset is going to be composed of. Probably a mix of high flying and strikes.

I make people tap regularly. It's just that there are "wear down" submissions and "struggle" submissions. Wear downs don't make them tap, just stretch a body part for some damage and let go. Struggles stay on until they tap, you let go, or they reverse. Reversals are pretty easy so you have to wear them down a bit first.
How do you perform the struggles? I'd been wondering about that.
And just out of curiosity, do they give ANY indication in-game of how to toss someone into the fire in the Inferno Match? I had to get my wife to check GameFAQs and look at the 2009 version's FAQ before I could finally be over and done with it.
"Make the flames rise to 500 degrees four times." Man, I probably should've gotten four unlockables for that.

Click the analog stick at any point (during grapple, when they're at the floor) to do struggle submissions.
As for Inferno, they don't tell you, but it's just like any animation trigger in the game. Grapple a guy near the fire or move him near the fire, and then watch.

I may actually start on working a CAS soon. John Cena and Randy Orton finally put aside their differences and team up to take on...somebody. Maybe DX. Or like...Vince McMahon. Not sure. My working title is "AA-KO". Clearly, nothing can go wrong with this.
