I occasionaly hit KC for a weekend to do a little gambling, shopping and eating.
Whenever I'm there I hit up the Gamestops, Game crazy's etc. What I'm looking for is more indie chains that would sell things like NES games SNES games etc in the local KC, Mo area.

Any help would be greatly apperciated!
Out of mild curiosity, where do you live? You say you go to KC, so there are a lot of areas around that you could come from. You live in KS by chance?
Omaha. We generally hang around KC near KCI, Crown Center, Worlds of Fun etc and maybe get as far as Overland Park.
Lawrence is a half an hour drive from KC and is a pretty neat little "scene" town if that is your thing, and while I believe it has an indy game store or two, I haven't been to them in a few years so who knows if they are still around.
Not that you would drive an extra hour and a half mind you...but whateva. Fun town to visit...sad to live in, then again Topeka blows as well.

I think it still exists and hasn't been converted to Gamestop. If it is gamestop now. I apologize
Hoping to find maybe a local indie chain of some sort.
EBStop consists of:
EBGames
Gamestop
EBX
Electronics Boutique
Funcoland
Babbages
some other damned thing
They're working hard at becoming a monopoly.
