My Guitarz is busted!!

So my RB2(Rock Band 2) guitar isn't synching up with my console. I press the button and it just doesn't connect with the console (360). I press the resynch button, nothing. Ever since I got my console back from its RROD revival it hasn't recognized the guitar or the drums. Helps.

edit: to be clear the guitar and the drums turn on, but they just won't connect, the little light just blinks and blinks like its searching for a console in range

Did you press the synch button on the 360 as well?

EDIT: To expand, the process goes press and hold synch button on guitar until it blinks and then do the same for the 360, which should then let them link up. I heard it helps when you have no controllers connected to the 360 eating up the ports.

Don't feel bad, I've forgotten to hit the sync on the console myself a few times, probably cause it just works so often.

Unrelated, just curious, is your actual name Raziel? Reason I'm curious is we named our son Raziel, and I'd never actually MET anyone with that name. If real, cool name! If alias, cool alias!

Yes problem solved. And the name Raziel is an alias that I picked based on its meaning which iir is something along the lines of "God's Secret" or "God's Secret Keeper" badass name for your kid though. My actual name means "Deserved success" fyi
