I have a lot of free time now, since I am sick and do not plan on going out or drinking until I get better. All I have is a netbook with a pretty slow internet connection in my hotel room. I have spent a lot of time on Kongregate or hulu but I am looking for other things to do.
I have seen most of the good shows on hulu like Lost, Heroes, Firefly, Arrested Development Its Always Sunny (actually I need to find the fourth season) but what else is there on Hulu? I tried Chuck but I just couldn't get into, same with Kings. I am really only interested in shows with the first season up, I don't want to jump in half way.
On to games now, any other free games worth checking out? I can't get steam installed so I can't play my Peggle or World of Goo but like I said Kongregate has given lots of crap to spend time on. Anything else I should check out? I tried Cave Story and Dwarf Fortress but I just didn't like either of them that much.
Ya not really interested in any of that, mostly I have been playing those crappy games on Kongregate like Epic War or whatever until I get bored of the grind and upgrade system.

Have you watched Spaced? It's on Hulu and amazing. Simon Pegg is behind it.
You need to watch Three Sheets on Hulu. It's the greatest drinking show on TV!

You could read webcomics! They are an excellent time waster, especially ones with huuuuuuge archives that you can slog through. Try Dinosaur Comics, Achewood, Penny-Arcade, Nedroid... look around.
Fiz, check out community. I hate Joel McHale but I like that show.
Aside from Hulu, you could get into a low requirement MMO like Ragnarok Online. Its a pretty simple grindfest, but the art and character classes keep me coming back. Or, if you're hardcore, ultima online.
You could play games on your netbook, there have been some threads around here about which games play well on it. Off the top of my head I can suggest World of Goo and Quake Live.

The Infinity Engine games (Baldur's Gate I & II, Icewind Dale I & II, Planescape: Torment) are huge time-wasters that you can play on a netbook.
Do you have Netflix? Netflix Instant View has a SHITLOAD of quality movies and TV available to stream.
If you don't have it, you can probably get a free trial. If not, it might very well be worth a 7.99 one-month subscription (or whatever the cheapest plan with streaming is) to get access to everything on there.
The internet connection can't be too awfully slow if Hulu is watchable.
You could read some old books if you want. The Tom Swift books are amusing in a retro-futuristic way. You got your Tarzans, Zane Grey Westerns, Quartermaine adventures, Jack London wilderness tales... the short stories section has Sherlock Holmes stuff.
If you're technically inclined, or just like learning, there's a bunch of stuff on here. The courses that have video lectures, for the most part, are quite well done.

I think Hulu may also have a bunch of Alfred Hitchcock Presents on it as well. I never get tired of those. I think you'll like Spaced though.

That sentence doesn't really work, but you know what I mean.
Get free ebooks and a reader from the net, Ctrl-Alt-arrowkey to reorient your screen, and then you can hold your netbook like an actual book.
Yes. Go here.

I also prefer The Office, which should be on Hulu. You can jump into those at any time, but there is a bit of continuity.
