People used to talk about television ruining the imagination of a generation, but that was never true. Watching too much television can only be good for your imagination. You might only be able to imagine things in the vocabulary of television.
The real ruination visited upon our generation is brought to you courtesy of instant gratification. The amount of things I can do without any planning is staggering. I can go to Thailand without planning anything. Thailand is pretty far away. Go to a travel agent, buy a ticket and a travel guide. I can get almost any cd in less than three googles. Every TV show, movie, video game or album is in the internet and can be accessed with no effort. Curious fellows can get a small taster of any information without doing any research.
Planning things; setting up a structure ahead of time to complete certain objectives is not something you do. You don't need to anymore, because if your friend doesn't know the plan you can just text them anyway.
