You know what achievement can piss off and shove itself up a cockatoo's clunge? "Only a Flesh Wound" from Ninja Blade.
It's not just that you have to complete a particular level with less than 1000 damage... in a game where your damage per level can easily reach into tens of thousands.
And that the only weapon that can actually harm your opponent for half that level does damage to you if you have it equipped for too long at one time... or that your opponent can hit you with unblockable attacks...
It's when you mess up and get hit on the most difficult part of the level, EVERY time you reset to the last checkpoint to try again, you have to sit through this UNSKIPPABLE BOLLOCK-ACHE of a five minute cut-scene with a dozen QTEs in it.
Man it really sucks when I'm pretty much down to driving-related achievements in Crackdown...and I can't drive. I literally had to spend time just practicing steering and that on the freeway because I'm determined to get good at it.
yea, the driving achievements and the MP ones are about all that's left for me as well iirc.
I stopped trying to do the races though because some of the tracks pretty much require you to run over people to complete them. In doing so, taking a hit your driving XP and it just wasn't fun doing it (at least to me). Driving through that shopping district and junk just felt bad. =\
Crackdown 2! COMING SOON though, yay.
The races in Crackdown are just a terrible thing anyway. Driving is pretty much only a matter of convenience, or for doing crazy jumps and stuff, the actual driving was ....not good.
To have to do every race with every car is a fail.

It turns out I was wrong. I actually got the racing achievement, and most of the driving ones. I didn't do the jumps though, going by my card. meh. almost makes me want to go back and try to finish it off.

I'm like 3495 zombies away from Zombie Genocidest in L4D1, which seems Like i've come so far....
If only i could beat a damn campaign on expert though, sheesh.
Hmmm. I don't think I'm going to hit my TA target of 75% completion by the 1st of June. If I hadn't picked up FFXIII I might have done it. Still, main story of that is done now, and there are about 8 or so achievements that'll be fairly easy to pick up in the end game, so after that I get back to replaying Dragon Age: Origins or ME2.
I've got all but two achievements in Wolverine Origins now - all I have left is beat the game on Hard and collect all the dog tags. I only was missing like 5 dog tags, so rather than play through level by level to find the five of them, I'm just starting over on Hard and using a guide to collect all of them one by one.

Hard wasn't that bad actually, and yea, I actually did go level by level.
Maxing out the skills was the one that took me the longest to do.

I maxed out the last reflex, and then started hard, because I don't want to play through the game like three times on HARD for that achievement.

Beating hard mode was the absolutely last achievement I had to do. I got all the tags, reflexes, skills, etc etc before even starting hard. Then I just blew through hard mode to 100% my achievements for it.
This is all I will ever think about when someone mentions Deadpool to me in the future. I hope you're happy.
No see, Dudepeel was in the movie and the related game.
Deadpool is just in comic books and MUA2.
I can't unread it.

I realized today how agonizingly close i am to 100%'ing L4D1.... I'm like 6 achievements away. Some are multiplayer ones, and I've never beat a damn campaign on expert...
Oh and if anyone knows a good way to headshot a leaping hunter let me know :P

Deadpool is a total jerk on hard mode though.
I had one of those unbelievably zen moments when I played through on Hard, and after taking DAYS to beat him on Normal was prepared for the worst.
I beat him effortlessly, on my first try. I have no idea why or how.
All I have now is all dog tags, and the combat multipliers ones. I am so pissed that I was stupid and need to grind those out on HARD to retain all my progress.

Heh, that's why I did them all on normal...I wasn't going to do any of the reflex or multiplyer grinding on hard.
Like I said, it made it where I could just blow through hard and be done.
In Eternal Sonata, will I get the achievement for unlocking all musical scores if I download the "unlock all musical scores" DLC?
There's a DLC for that? I don't think you'd get it though. Could be wrong, but offhand unlocking items via buy-cheats generally hasn't worked from my experience.
Here's two older random forum posts that agree as far as the piano key:
Ugh, I am so close to Platinum for Assassin's Creed 2, but its point value on Goozex is starting to go south, and I can't be arsed to find all the treasures/find two groups of hookers to spend 7500 on/sweep 5 guys at once/beat 10 guys without getting hit.

It's been about a year since I got all but those two achievements too so maybe I'll do that this weekend. Hard mode + dog tag guide.
The Magic Sword/Final Fight game has some easy-ish achievements. It was a good excuse to get my roommate in to beat Magic Sword in an hour last night. We used more than 18 continues though... grumble.
When I needed a break from the epic-ness of FFXIII and Just Cause 2, I played Rise of the Argonauts a week or so ago. It felt like an original XBOX game. It's worth a rental.
I'm kinda grinding out the 100 games played achievement on BF1943 a few games a day. I'd love to play mroe, but it sucks hard without a squad and no-one I know plays it. Anyone want to help me out?

That's what I figured. I wonder if you can still get the achievement after buying the DLC, but I doubt that.
Thanks.
more than likely you can
the most recent similar case I can recall would be using the cheats to unlock all the cheats brick functionality in Lego Indy 2. You basically had to physically buy and pick up the bricks. I'd venture to say that similarly, it's not the unlocking of the music, but the actual possession of the item in question that would cause the achievo to pop.

So Assassin's Creed 2 has way, way nicer achievements than Assassin's Creed 1. They aren't all tied up in (Collect all the X's).
I'm going through all the AC1 achievements now and those flags are a bitch. I'm down to flags, Templars, and pickpocketing 200 knives.
Knives are pretty easy, if you tend to throw a lot like I did then pickpocket every goon you see. Flags and Templars, though? Man, I don't think I'm going to bother.
Finally dropped Lego Batman in the tray again because we were sitting for some friend's kids - it's not as disappointing as I remember, but still feel too burned out on the previous Lego achievements to even try hard on this one.

There's two at the end, though. One is to collect all the feathers. The other is only possible once you've collected all the feathers.
This is where somebody points out that AC1 had those flags to intentionally waste the player's time. And some quote from a developer about how they think those sorts of things are stupid. Or something.
Yeah how do you get that achievement anyway? I put it on and fast-traveled to every city, I even wen to the Mountains, which I heard is required to trigger it, but still nothing popped up.
