Middle one seems to be the best of the three, but having a dude with an eyepatch just screams "I'M TRYING TO BE MORE BADASS". I'll be fine not preordering with them.
IF the damn game still comes out.
EDIT: Oh, great, apparently they also come with gameplay bonuses. Ugh. Gamestop is a bunch of silly geese.

Yeah, those costumes don't interest me in the least.
I have a pre-order for this game already (traded in some stuff during a promotion and put it towards RDR) but I still don't get why they do pre-order bonuses. Especially the ones where there are 4 different ones at 4 different retailers. No one is ever going to buy more than one copy at more than one place. If it's about boosting day one sales figures, then make it one preorder item available everywhere.
Also, I think I picked the EyePatch guy cause I like the idea of more Dead Eye. But I would have easily picked the Newsie for cheaper guns.
Why the bloody hell would I want to be a fat newsie, an exact-same-as-regular-Marston-with-an-eyepatch, or a perfectly good hunter who went on peyote spree and decided to wear a ridiculous animal head?
Seriously, everyone knows we all just want to be The Man With No Name. No, screw it, we just want to be Clint Eastwood. Just give us a Clint Eastwood skin, dammit.
I don't get why developers who hate Gamestop for their aggressive pawn shop scheming would actively choose to work with them/against consumers.
Gamestop will pay a shit ton of money to people who do this. "If you make some sort of Gamestop-only bonus, we'll advertise in your store and play a wacky commercial on TV!"
Publishers see free advertising and go "Hell yes, we have no problem with this situation."

Hmm, and is it then up to the dev to release the bonus for free at a later date?
There have been a few pre-order bonuses that were literally cheat codes, right? Or it was an unlock code that was the same for everyone, so one person would just tell people what it was on the internet.

Yeah, sometimes they're "EXCLUSIVE CODES" that end up just being the one code that anyone can type in. But now they're getting smarter and doing one-time use codes.
At least go there to look at the screenshot of the Hunter Marston "in action"
EDIT: As for my opinions of them, I wish I could just pick the flat-ish brimmed hat from the assassin and the hide vest from the hunter and call it a day.
EDIT2: Ended up voting for the merchant outfit though, strictly for the bonus. Apparently the hunter's outfit is winning.
So apparently Rockstar is finally showing off a playable version to journalists. It's looking good, so there's at least something productive coming out of San Diego. Thanks for the blood, sweat, and tears!

Yeah, apparently you can't skin horses, dogs, or squirrels, though not for lack of trying (the Rockstar rep called Sterling McGarvey of G4 a "terrible person for trying" )

Sounds like a missed opportunity for an achievement.

Updated OP with "Weapons & Death". The three levels of Dead Eye are shown, as well as a few expected gunplay options, like blindfire and Euphoria at work.

I dunno if he comes up against Quigley he's pretty much a dead man.

edit:
Again, I suppose this is a mostly serious game. No goofy stuff like that, sadly.

It was extra in-game money.
And it was a cheat code.
This is closely followed by a different store offering stickers for pre-ordering the same game.

There was also one offer which gave you early access to the Brutal Legend demo. Like, one week early.

You do realize that the Preacher in Pale Rider is Clint, right?
Sorry to link to another site but I'm at work and can't get the link to embed.

The characters/setting/genre were always what put me off GTA.
Oh thank God almighty.

The horseback combat looks terrible but this isn't really their fault, no one has gotten this right yet
