I think it will be more like the Ultimate Avengers movies as regards to Cap's personality, he's less sanctimonious but still retains that air of being the "good guy" and isn't a silly goose.
Also: Racist, Jingoistic and an asshole.

I quit reading Ultimates with #6 of the first volume, but I've read enough of the preview pages and stuff highlighted from the book to where this would have been a bigger thing throughout the online comics community.
As for jingoistic, that's fine, it's what I expect from someone called Captain America (and I would think it would be a smart move to put Union Jack in the Cap movie as a supporting character in maybe some battle, a nice way to make the movie more international which is one of the big things these days)
Well I mean he's as much of a racist as anyone from the 40s would be. He actually pretty much goes with the flow of integration really quickly.
Just in his first scene he's like "This black guy could never be a secret service leader! He's black, you dumb nazis!" And he flips out until they can prove to him that yes, it is the future and yes, black people aren't segregated anymore.
But I think even in that line he says something like "Black people are cool but they would never put a black guy in charge of anything in America"

Yeah, that's what I got from it. I remember he even said he knew the highest ranked black guy in the Army back in WWII.
I know in the first issue of Ultimates 2 he goes and kicks some Iraqi asses who were holding people hostage but that's because he wanted to because America fuck yeah.

Wasn't the whole gist of Ultimates 2 that he and the other Avengers didn't want to be America's super army. And that's why at the end they become the world peace keeping force backed by Tony.
Which is an awesome jumping off point but then Loeb happened and immediately sucked.

Yeah, after that ended things were looking pretty good, you had the entire team assembled with enough supporting cast and the Ultimates had enough good publicity to really make a go of it. I saw that as the bit where the team truly came together. But then it got Loebed and went downhill horribly.

I looked her up, yeah she doesnt look formidable at all BUT Tex, I think you'd be hard pressed to find a fat, black, live-action women who doesn't look like Precious.

There's really no reason CCH Pounder, who played Waller on JLU, couldn't have done it. I think she more than proved that she can be an intimidating presence while appearing in The Shield.

Meh, sounds like the DC Entertainment film department's answer to Sam Jackson appearing as Nick Fury, and we'll probably see Waller in cameos in the future DC films.
