So a friend of mine has asked me to put together a laptop / netbook running OSX (Frozen Kitten preferably) While reading through some things the biggest issue I'm running into is the hardware. For the life of me I can't figure out what kinda hardware I need to buy to make this work. Does anyone have any experience with this or have any ideas on what works great for it?
Edit: Clarifying some of the requirements, looking at Netbooks for the system to base this off of.
Dell Mini 9s are very popular hackintosh netbooks and there are Tons of posts available on the web for how to do it. From my memory, you'd need a retail copy of OS X, an 8 gb thumb drive and or a bootable external dvd drive with some files that are readily available on the internet. I'm thiking of doing this to my own mini 9.

I'm sometimes grumpy and random, feel free to overlook the strange man in the corner.
Look for 'Vanilla' installs, these require a retail disk (so you at least are paying for the software while violating the EULA), but in my experience, present less trouble with updates, etc.
*Edit*
I fail in a couple spots here, insanely mac is good, but some of the posts are hard to understand unless you've been reading there for a long time (the build post I put up is like that), but if you are looking at overall hackintosh methods, they are a good place to start. I've built 2 hacktintoshs based off of two build posts there, which are mainly tied to type of motherboard.
The Dell Vostro A90 is a rebadged mini9, and can be had from the outlet for like $230. Though you'll need to spend more to get more than an 8GB drive so you can actually store something on it other then the OSX install. The mini9/A90 is by far the easiest way to go for a fully functioning hackintosh netbook.

Think this might work?

From there, read over some of the builds. Most builds will have custom kexts, installers, etc related to the particular netbook. For example (http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=191255)
