I just searched my engineering for "critical" and it brought up everything that had critical strike rating on it. Goggles, guns, scopes, trinkets.
Hm, I'll have to see what else I may have setup in the meantime that broke that, or if I just never noticed it. Thanks, I hate when things are obvious sometimes.
I'm trying to find the name of the mod that gives you a blank space at the bottom of the screen and resizes the playable window. I have way too many bar and meters in the way and I can't see shit to the sides of me when I tank.

SunnArt can also accomplish this. I also use it to hedge the top in a bit to keep titan panel from hiding anything.
Yeah that was it, thanks to both of you. Turns out CTMod has a module for this (and I had it the whole time) but I downloaded Sunn Art for the cool textures under my bars.

Quick question time again.
I am looking for an addon similar to Omni CC and Cooldowns that will track everything, ie, DoT timer, cooldowns and whatever else I can think of, but on the actual button itself.
I have Omni CC already installed, but it only keeps track of two spells, I would like something that could tell me how much time I have left on things as well.

Any suggestions?
Pretty sure there's a Forte Exorcist component that will do this. I know my buttons show cooldowns, but I don't remember at the moment what all I have installed. When I get home I'll double-check.
Use NeedtoKnow. It's pretty simple and you can track an infinite number of debuffs, DoTs, and self-buffs. I use it to track mangle/faerie fire/demo roar/lacerate/rip/rake/savage roar.

InlineAura does this. Edit: I mean the DoT timer part, cos I don't think you can avoid having multiple addons to do all that. It does cooldowns and duration though so... maybe.
I really wish I could figure out how to move my quest objectives tracker frame. MoveEverything doesn't seem to want to work for it, and I can't quite figure out why.

It's attached to the minimap by default. CTmod lets you move it and probably a ton of other quest mods as well.
Chinchilla allows me to move it as well, it seems, but when I do, a bigass orange "QUEST TRACKER" overlay appears over it, I assume to show me where it'd move to, and never vanishes. Blegh.

Can anyone see what's wrong with this custom event in SCT?
It does nothing when I gain Sword and Board.
I have had this problem with parrot as well, Slam procs will give you the same issue. MSBT seems to not have this problem, though I am not entirely sure why. It seems like gaining that proc doesn't create a standard combat log event to indicate that you have gained that buff.
EventAlert and MSBT don't seem to run into this problem, so I am curious how they are checking.
There was an issue in 3.2 where Blizzard broke proc events like that, preventing them from showing up in the combat log and therefore in addons which parse the combat log. I don't know if they ever fixed that, so maybe MSBT just implemented a workaround instead.
And thank you Saeris. I assumed it would be multiples but having it in one macro is what I wanted.

So, I've been running a few raids, both pugs and in guilds to get some experience but I'm wanting to try and maximize my ui for it. Does anyone have a list or suggestions on addons for a ret paladin? I've got PallyPower which was a given but I'm not sure what else I should have. Something to help me ensure max dps? Something to help with fps? I guess what I'm saying is I'm quite amateur when it comes to ui modding and was just looking for input to improve myself. Thanks everyone in advance.

I don't think there's any add on that will improve your framerate. Addons use additional memory, so if anything they'll actually hurt it.

Is there an addon that will auto mail glyphs for specific classes to a particular character? I like to split glyphs between each bank alt with one posting dk -> paladin glyphs and another posting priest -> warrior. Adding them manually to quick auctions auto mailer is tedious, but it works fine. Looking for something more convenient.

Sorry, I phrased it wrong. I meant as in are there any addons that I perhaps shouldn't have on or should avoid to ensure fps doesn't drop horribly.
Thanks for the link though. I'll check it out!
The only thing I can think of is avoiding resource intensive addons that can harm your FPS. No addon can harm your dps in any real sense, they aren't allowed to interact with the game in a way that does that. Recount can be greedy on 25m, Skada seems to be less so. Thats just an example, I don't know the specs of your system I can't really gauge what would have a negative impact on your performance.
There are very, very few addons that actually need to present a notable resource drain. The operative phrase there is "need to", though. There are tons of addons which use more resources than they need, but for each one of those there's usually one written more efficiently with the same functionality. The only addons which genuinely require a lot of resources are combat monitors -- damage meters and the like.
If you want to measure resource usage, use these handy scripts:
/run UpdateAddOnMemoryUsage() local s,t,m={},0 for i=1,GetNumAddOns() do m=GetAddOnMemoryUsage(i) s=("%07.2f KB - %s"):format(m,GetAddOnInfo(i)) t=t+m end table.sort(s) s[#s+1]="Total: "..t for i,n in ipairs(s) do DEFAULT_CHAT_FRAME:AddMessage(n) end
/run UpdateAddOnCPUUsage() local s,t,m={},0 for i=1,GetNumAddOns() do m=GetAddOnCPUUsage(i) s=("%09.2f ms - %s"):format(m,GetAddOnInfo(i)) t=t+m end table.sort(s) s[#s+1]="Total: "..t for i,n in ipairs(s) do DEFAULT_CHAT_FRAME:AddMessage(n) end
The first one will show you memory usage per addon, sorted by memory usage. The second one will show you CPU usage in the same format, but before running the second one you need to enable CPU profiling. That's done by running this:
/script SetCVar("scriptProfile", "1") ReloadUI()
But be sure to disable it when you're done checking things, because CPU profiling itself requires a lot of CPU time. Disable it with this:
I was hoping someone could help me locate a mod I used to use or an equivalent. The mod would put the ilevel,vendor value, and even who drops the particular piece of loot on the mouseover tooltip. It may have been a combination of mods but I'd really like to get that functionality back. Now that I think on it, it also told the disenchant too.
Recount is probably the most wasteful mod that's simultaneously the most common - it eats a ton of memory but in large groups when it's wasting the most it's almost guaranteed someone else already has it.

"Informant" does this. Pretty sure it's part of the Auctioneer suite.
I can say Skada is pretty modular, and I've turned off about half the modules. I don't know if Recount has that capability, but it does help Skada's resource usage out. I used to have all the modules enabled, but there were a few fights that would cause Skada to kill my framerate until I turned the ones I didn't care about off.
End on
I wish that someway, somehow, that I could save every one of us

Item level and vendor value are part of the default UI now. If you want drop locations you'd have to use an addon though, and I believe Informant is the only one that offers that information.
So, I just posted the updated versions of my 51 addons to my site (the link in my signature). They're not posted at WoW-Interface yet though, so if you want to download them, just use the [This Site] link instead of the external link.

This is wonderful news. I strongly encourage everyone to get the skill linker, as the option to link trade skills is a wonderful tool for any guild. No longer do you need to ask around for who has what, oh think of the time you'll save. And, of course, how you can now compare yourself to all other crafters for top dog.

If not, I want to say there's a Blizzard option for hiding the overlay.

Macro question.
Can a macro be wrote to change to battle stance if you are not already in it, charge and then change to defensive stance all in one?
/cast [nostance:1] Battle Stance
/castsequence [stance:1] Charge, Defensive Stance
That goes to Battle if you're not in it, then Charges, then goes to Defensive Stance. That's three keypresses.
Steam (Ansatz) || GW2 officer (Ansatz.6498)

During the average 10m Raid I have recount using ~28MB of RAM, during that same raid Skada was using >0.25MB of RAM.
