Damn, Xperl is no longer updated?

Looks like I'll also be switching to something else come Cata.
Also, I ve had some trouble with it lately when it randomly stopped updating the health bar.

Also, I ve had some trouble with it lately when it randomly stopped updating the health bar.

I think that problem was fixed in the last release version. The problem is the main coder has disappeared and the two people who've tried to take over for him just don't know the code well enough to fully maintain it themselves.

I'll give pitbull4.0 a shot, but I'll probably wait until it's closer to a release version.

I have encountered no bugs whatsoever with Pitbull 4. As far as I can tell it's finished.

I find PitBull4 less buggy than PitBull3 was before I switched over.

But I switched over to 4 due to bugfixes being slow to be fixed I think. (And this was about a year or two ago.)

Is the OP up to date? I just dropped Blacksmithing and I'm about to embark on a Mining Journey and just noticed Gatherer hasn't been updated in who knows how long. Is Cartographer a good replacement? Or is there another lightweight addon I should look into?

I think Cartographer is also dead, but I haven't looked at it in a long time. Nowadays I just look at ore/herb maps on wowhead and eyeball a route through a zone. Works good enough for me.

I use Bartender and a minimap/chat mode but other than that.

MoveAnything is what I use for my UI frames. It lets you resize and move anything on the default UI. The default works great as long as you resize it some.

The updated stock UI raid frames for Cata are surprisingly good, I'd use them if they had a few tweaks done here or there (which I might be able to do myself with my personal tweaking mod but I haven't looked into it yet). They also added the ability to make your party frames into raid frames, which is something I've always wanted since I always forget to heal myself in 5man parties.

I also use GatherMate. Add in Routes and you're golden. Both are very lightweight.

Leveling mining sucks, but it's better since Blizz fixed the skill range on TBC ores.

Thanks for the person who suggested TukUI. Its exactly what I wanted from an UI - resolution independent, easy to configure, player health and target on the bottom, clean minimap. Very nice "mob frames".

Ok, new patch hit, time for new addons and junk.

Does anybody know an addon I can use to scale just the default unit frames? The rest of the UI is a good size, but the unit frames are way too small =\

For people wondering about XPerl, there is a beta version that works perfectly with 4.0. If you use Curse Client, you have to tell it to use the beta release of XPerl. It can also be DL'ed from WoWAce.

Now the only big thing I am missing is Grid, oh god Grid. Please get updated soon.

In the graphics options is a slider for UI Scale. First thing I ever do on a fresh WoW install is set that to 85%.

Grid is updated on Wowace. Gearscore is the only addon I have that is out of date (and has an error message on login).

Only thing I want now is an addon that tells me when I get a rune from runic empowerment and what type of rune.

edit.. I use Bagnon and it's fine for one-baggery.

In installed the most recent Beta/Alpha version of arkinventory from wowace and it works fine (THANK GOD).

I swear that was the hardest part about playing with no addons in the beta.

Now I just need to find out when the haste proc from soulfire falls off - may have to turn power auras back on until fortexorists updates with the new effects.

ItemRack's super-dead in that if you have it on, it will error continuously. It had hit 30k errors by the time WoW was like "hey dud your addon's busted you should disable your shit." By the way, never disable your addons via that button since it disables them period. Luckily I had a backup of my addon.txt and could just pop it back in to restore my addon selection.

Also SCT's dead for me as well. There's another scrolling text mod out there though, isn't there?

Bagnon was working for me last night. But I'm always up for new stuff, so maybe I'll check out ArkInventory. edit: Some screenshots show me I DEFINITELY am gonna check out ArkInventory later.

Can the new built in power auras be setup for stuff like, "Glow when I don't have Inner Fire on?" Or should I keep power auras installed anyway?
