hey guys this game looks

it's called Machinarium and it comes out in like a day. if you're awesome like me you can buy now on steam for $15, thanks to a nice 25% off preorder deal. if you like indie games, adventure games or things that look really really cool, check it out. there's even a demo!

    the demo actually had some pretty clever portions!

    really for $15 you can't go wrong

    this looks a lot like that delightful flash game where you as a robot had to restore electricity to the city by completeing some puzzles, I can not remember the name.

    I would use any single screenshot from this game as a wallpaper on my computer

    because they all look like fucking stand-alone artworks

    I remember seeing footage of this from PAX news stuff, but man it does look gorgeous

    so it's a adventure/puzzle game?

    The demo is pretty sweet. You can only interact with things within a certain range and all the puzzles are contained to one screen so you're not carrying around a sandwich throughout the whole game and trying to use it with everything. Art style and character mannerisms are also ace.

    Sure, if there's clever dialogue written for every failed attempt. If it's just "I can't use that here" it's boring as hell.

    it does give me a bit of an epic feeling when the end of the game comes and I'm like "oh my god I'm finally going to use this jewel I've had all game yes yes it goes right here yesssss" and awesome things happen

    well a good adventure game would account for that and give you a result that isn't quite as epic instead of a brick wall and not being able to progress

    I'm so glad someone made a thread about this game. I've been watching it's progress since I first read about it.

    Desperately need to upgrade my computer, but I'm hoping this has fairly low requirements.
