How to best split an MKV file in half?

Any particularly easy suggestions or anything that works best for either splitting MKV or MP4 files?

I'm thinking something simple that doenst require major video editing software.

    IF you are wanting to split it up so that it can fit on a FAT32 usb stick, GOTSent can do that pretty easy. It also can effortlessly turn a MKV into something an xbox 360 can read, and even bake subtitles into stuff if you are into foriegn films or anime.

    hjsplit will split most any file and is very useful for large files that you need to fit on a flashdrive.
