I rolled with her (and Liara) in my final pre-ME2 runthrough until I got their achievements, then booted her tinted helmeted ass off my squad. Great weapons and tech abilities, but I never want to hear another "Among my people...." screed again. Bugger off.

Finishing up with Wrex and Garrus now. Much better. "I SMELL TROUBLE."

I'm picturing a small, wandlike cylinder on Shepard's back, that when picked up goes whirr-click! and telescopes out to about three feet long while deploying a giant diamond/disco ball handle.

    Al Shiala?

    Assassin's Effect

    Thank you!

Can you imagine what I would give for an Assassin's Creed type of game set in the ME universe? Especially if your character, the assassin, were an Elcor?

Can you imagine an Elcor blending into a procession of space hookers? IMAGINE THAT.

It would be like getting to kill people as Mr. Snuffleupagus.

So I'm new to the party.. I got Mass Effect out of a bargin bin the other day for €5 and finally got around to playing it.. I really like it so far, but only put around 8h into it.
What I've come to realise is I suck horribly at combat in this game moving 2 sticks to aim and then having to shoot and everything, I get confused. Give me good old ASDW anyday!

So my question is, which I've not seen answered in this thread and if it has I'm sorry.
How do you control Shepard in the PC world? Is it ASDW and mouse?
Because right now I'm considering going to just pick it up for for PC instead so I can actually do some killing of mans.

Yep, mouse and keyboard in the PC version. Plus better menus and squad controls.

if you run into black textures on therum, open up the config tool, go to repair, and pick the delete shader cache option.

just a warning, just in case.

I really need to get around to getting that fixed.

bleh, guess I know what I'm doing this afternoon.

Pshhhh, making games work is old news, I'm going to make it so that, if you spin your ME2 disks backwards in your tray, all Shepard says is that your mother sells whelks in Hull.

Looks like it was fixed with patch 1.02, but I completely forgot that we checked to see if it did, or we didn't actually check to see if the patch would fix that bit of messuppery.

    A snippet of useless trivia:

If Wrex was not on the team on Virmire, and joined the party right afterwards then in the first convo with him Sheppard will thank him for what he ( Wrex, that is ) did on Virmire.

Confirmed: spirit of Wrex helps you everywhere :P

Also, how painful it is to use a sniper rifle as your main weapon until your skill gets a bit better. Heh.

I'm wondering... are Bioware going to reliterate all the info from party members and the codex, or is all the information in ME2 going to be totally new?

Would be interesting to get a party member with totally different views on their culture than the ME1 equivilent.
