I'm talking about the pressure and drama of cooking a meal which you know is going to be the dinners last. You don't want someone's last words to be a scathing public critique of your lousy lobster bisque. That's the kind of reviews chefs' careers don't recover from.
A Kobe beef steak, prepared by my mother
Mashed potatoes also made by my mom
A big ol' loaf of freshly baked bread
My dad's barbecue ribs
An entire rotisserie chicken
A few slices of pizza from Angelo's Pizza in Venice, Italy
For dessert, my mom's butter cake, as well as this dessert she makes with vanilla pudding and bananas and whipped cream on top of a crust of pecans that I don't think has an actual name
To drink, some red wine, some King Ludwig Dark beer, and a few shots of Jack to top it off
A large plate of fried rice with my grandmother's home-made dumplings, a serving of mushroom ravioli with garlic and pepper, french onion soup and a rack of marinated lamb with a side of crispy golden chips and tartar sauce. Along with this meal I'd have a single glass of red wine, nothing specific comes to mind right now though.
If we're allowed desert as well I'd also have a lemon meringe pie with strawberry shortcake and a cappuccino to finish off.
i dunno
id think if you were gonna be executed youd want to be as unconductive as possible
like trying to electrocute some wood
you get up 5 minutes later all 'sorry boys better luck next time!'

a pot of tomato, chilli & basil mussels with crispy fries and mayonnaise
three big slices of pork belly with mashed potatoes, sauerkraut, apple sauce and gravy
a litre stein or two of cold, original lowenbrau off the tap
a massive slice of apple crumble
I'd want
Chicken Alfredo made by my mom
Some good home-made Sourdough bread
A fruit salad consisting of pineapple, Gala apples, green grapes, and watermelon
For dessert
My uncle's cheesecake, probably chocolate
Apple pie made by my Grandma, with some vanilla-bean Tillamook ice-cream.
And to drink:
No less than 4 varieties of root beer, probably Thomas Kemper, Weinhard's, and 2 other decent ones.

Also, clearly not nearly enough people have eaten at Gino's East, Al's #1, or La Bamba's.... to say nothing of Delmonico's
are these places in ATL or what? i'd be happy with going someplace other than McDonalds if I knew about any restaurant there.
first two are Chicago, La Bamba's is a chain in the midwest mostly in college towns, and Delmonico's is in New York and Vegas.
If you need ATL advice, I can definitely suggest some places. What kind of food and price range?
nothing specific really, just something I could really enjoy while down there. I've been driving down a lot lately, and I know there's got to be some neat, maybe mid-range in price places that I just don't know about. I always feel retarded eating fast food while visiting a city.
Actually, anything with amazing steak/ribs/whatever. if I were to splurge, where should I do it?
All I can think of is this, where they listed the last meal requests of death row inmates. One guy asked that his last meal be given to a homeless person, which is almost sweet, until you realize he murdered two people and buried them in a creek.
Sucks for all the dudes who were denied a pack of smokes, though.

10 minutes of kfc, curry, whatever else pouring out your ass
Extra crispy, extra sauce. No dipping, no celery, no relief.
My revenge would be sweet.
