Last fight in Web of shadows. Pain in the ass. I finally work out how to kill him and the boss glitches out on me. I can't land a hit on it and it can't hurt me. BULLSHIT!
Done with Web of Shadows! Man, that last fight was awful, what a shitty way to end the game. Got the best ending with regular spidey. Marking it as done but will run through as black spidey in future,

Hell yes! So, after many failed attempts, I finally defeated Lord Bane (3hp remaining for a long time...). Apparently, he was the final boss.
Victory is mine! Now I can finally move on to focusing on something else. I might finish my Buzz! playthrough. I think I'm most of the way done with it. Just a few quiz series left. Go team!

Finished my Borderlands play-through. Going to grab a few more trophies and then call this one - I have no desire to do a second play-through after all.

Am I supposed to edit my original post that's linked in the OP to show my progress?
Finished Modern Warfare 2 single player. That game is short. Like "I played it for less than 5 and a half hours and finished it" short.
Oh well, got it off the backlog, I'll probably dump a bajillion hours into multiplayer though so I guess that makes up for it. If anyone has a suggestion for next game to tackle I'm all ears.

!UpdateStatus 11/64 Borderlands done.
Finished one play-through with a hunter. Obtained all trophies that don't require other players except for the level 40 & level 50 trophies. Not interested in repeating the content since most of it wasn't very interesting the first time through.
Interesting game - I like the game play itself, and shooting mans in it was pretty fun - especially sniping. But the missions were often rather boring, there wasn't enough variety in settings, the story was terrible, and for all the seeming coolness of the random gun generation the majority of the guns I found were crap and I only actually used a fairly small number of different guns.
I might have liked this more if I hadn't played so many other superb games just before it - Uncharted 2, Batman: Arkham Asylum, Infamous... As it stands though, rather a disappointment given all the love it gets around here.
Beat Silent Hill: Shattered Memories just now, completely fantastic game. I'm going to play through it again right away but I'm considering it beaten for my backlog. Also, I just took Zack and Wiki off of my backlog completely, since I stopped early on with no desire to play it again.

So, I'm playing through my backlog and I am beginning to remember why I shelved a lot of this shit. Some of these games, no matter how much I spent on them, I simply don't want to play them.
YAY! I can has post!
I finished Lost and Damned last night. I was so excited I rushed to the PC at 3 in the morning only to be told I couldn't post because I'm not Jewish enough. I just killed half the citizens of Liberty City as Johnny Klebitz, a biker Jew and I'm told I'm not Jewish enough.
In any case I'm starting Ballad of Gay Tony. Yay me!

This is EXACTLY my problem. Im forcing myself to give them a chance though. However if its a grindy game and i start to despise it im throwing in the codebreaker and making it go away.
On the other hand I actually pushed through a tough spot with Jade empire and found at least some mild entertainment with the game at this point. Im hoping that some of my backlog are actually gems that i should have played already. It should be interesting to see what happens when i get to them.
Beat Castlevania Dawn of Souls with the "good" ending. God I hate cheap, lazy anime tropes. That was quite possibly the lamest Castlevania ending ever. Fairly good game though, still liked Portriat of Ruin better.

!UpdateStatus, 1/41
Finished Batman Arkham Asylum last night. After seeing the trailler for the sequel, it motivated me to go through what was left of the game. I was apparently not that far off. Finished the game with 70% completion. Since I am not a completionist/achievement whore, that is more than enough for me. Finish a single player game on normal difficulty or higher is enough for me to consider the game finish. I'll probably get back later to grab a few more "secrets" for fun but I consider the game beated.
I also made lots of progress in Dragon Age. After the never ended dwarf part, I have everyone on board and am currently at the landsmeet. I have a feeling I'm getting close to the end!
On NHL10, in my Be a Pro Carreer, I am at the end of my first season (center, rookie selected first overall by the LA Kings). Currently in the stanley Cup finales against the Buffalo Sabers trailing the series 2 to 1 on All Star Difficulty.
Question, My cousin bought and finished Assasin's creed 2. He propose to lend it to me. I'm very interested since I loved the first one but didn't bought since I wanted to clear my backlog. So I might pause my backlog to play and finish AC2 soon.
Didn't get a chance to update because of the temp forum shift but I beat a game!
!Update: 5/27
I beat Castlevania: Dracula X Chronicles. Lots of fun. I'm going to put it away in favor of playing Dead Space. I got the bad ending because I didn't know there were maidens to be saved, but I don't really care to do that. More importantly, I'll go back on my second backlog list only for the purposes of unlocking SotN and adding it to the new list. :P
I'm currently at the end of Chapter 4 on Dead Space, almost Chapter 5. I'm tempted to play this one really slowly even though I know I can probably finish the whole thing in a day or two of dedicated play.
I'm also about half way through Brothers in Arms which I bought at launch. Great game and doesn't get enough respect. I hope now that people have discovered Borderlands that they will go back and consider the Gearbox catalogue more closely now.
I got a hold of some RealTriggers a month or two ago from a friend who came back from a game conference. They are really awesome and they have revolutionized my willingness to play shooters on the PS3 (hence my desire to play Bioshock again :P). I really can't express enough how awesome these things are. My only real complaint about the PS3 dual shock controller was the mushy triggers (well, and the position of the analog sticks, since the 360's asymmetrical design being a little more easier to use for those types of games), but now that problem is largely solved.
Almost done with Momohime's story in Muramasa (on act 7 now), then on to the other story. Also closing in on completing the story quests for PuzzleQuest. I'll still have some side quests for it that will be good for travelling on trains and planes, but for backlog purposes it will be done once I finish the story.

!UpdateStatus 12/64 Dead Space finished.
Left off at the end of Mission 6 back in February apparently, and ended up pushing straight through and finishing the game in a single afternoon/evening yesterday. Good game, and one that I should have finished ages ago.
Today I've gone from mid-chapter 3 in Resistance 2 to near the end of chapter 5 (of 7). Out for the next few hours but I plan to have this one done by this time tomorrow, if not tonight with a little luck.

Not that long of a game, but it was really fun. Except for the boss fights. They would have been better if you fought the bosses.
I wanted to play Shantae, since it's the last Game Boy Color game on my "play this" list, but it obviously won't run on a DS so I had to dig out my GBASP... which hasn't been turned on, much less charged, in 3 years.
I was expecting a completely dead battery incapable of holding a charge.
Instead, it powered right up as if I'd just turned it off yesterday.
So, Nintendo knows how to make handhelds I guess.
(And my Shantae save from 7 years ago was also still there on the cart, but that's much less impressive, I've seen 15+ year old cartridges with working savegames on them)
I finished up Metroid Prime 2 today. All I'm going to say is that the last boss is some unintuitive gimmicky bullshit. Alright, I'm done ragin'.
You're a stronger man (or woman) than I.
Put another hour or so into Metroid Fusion. The blue parasites are particularly annoying, but the game is still pretty fun and kicking along at a nice pace. This will sadly be my last 2D scrolling Metroid I never got around to finishing Super Metroid, I'll see how I feel after this one I guess.

I've been playing it co-op with a friend, so whenever one of us gets too worked up we're able to switch off and laugh at the other person. It got us through the tougher moments in Prime and Prime 2 pretty well.
I'm playing Fusion as well right now. Hi Five! I need to Goozex some games and get a copy of Zero Mission.
Finally finished Hold Angel Gate in Dawn of War 2 Stupid mission. >.<
I have to do this still!
How long did the mission take you? I've heard it's long with lots of enemies throughout...
It is a long mission and I found it ridiculously hard compared to the rest (both prior and subsequent missions) Took me multiple attempts but I was doing it wrong >.<
First part of the mission Is easy, it then gets stupid.
Not really a spoiler but make sure to take the Dreadnought in your squad.
I plowed through some more of this last night and am really hoping to hit the end soon.
My backlog is on hold for two days, as my brother let me borrow Ultimate Alliance 2 to test it out.
So far...it's ok. Weakest of the Marvel RPGs by a mile.
This was the last game I did in my backlog and I honestly found it repetitive and boring.
I loved the X-men RPGs that were on ps2.
Didn't help that it wasn't done by Ravensoft like the Xmen games and Marvel Ultimate Alliance, it was done by the guys that ported Ultimate alliance to the PSP and Wii.

Not sure what I'm going to play next as I'm moving this weekend and everything is packed except a few Xbox 360 games I had laying around.
Onechanbara: Bikini Samurai Squad
Terminator Salvation
Ben 10 Alien Force: Vilgax Attacks
Ummm... I don't think I can win here. I'll more than likely play what can be knocked off the quickest. Have any of you guys played these games?
