Goooooood day all my litlle penny arcaders, I'm Avarice and I will be your captain for this let's play of the Infamous chrono trigger.

What's chrono trigger?
Well its (debatably) the best RPG on the SNES or any platfrom for that matter. Sadly this is my first time playing it as it passed me completely by. (went from NES straight to playstation 1 so I missed it on realase date).

Wikipedia sayssss:
Chrono Trigger takes place in an original world similar to Earth, with eras such as the prehistoric age, where early humans and dinosaurs share the earth; the Middle Ages, replete with knights and magic; and the post-apocalyptic future, where humans and sentient robots struggle to survive. The characters frequently travel through time to obtain allies, gather equipment, and learn information to help them in their quest.

Soooo let's get on with it! Btw you've never seen a greater paradox than an englishman failing to do an english accent.

    What have you done with SimBen?

    Also, an Englishman unable to do an English accent? It only strikes me as odd if you live in England and can't do one. What's your normal voice? :D I'm in a comp lab so I can't really hear the videos.

    Also, Bethryn lives right next to the Somerset/Wiltshire border, and he just started LPing mirror's edge.

    Good first set.

    You know, Chrono Trigger is one of the few RPG's that I never liked. I can't explain it, but it just felt boring to me.

    Seriously though, a great first set. Since this is a blind run it's probably a good idea that we all keep spoiler tags at the ready. Like this one.
    I can't wait to see his reaction to the court case, that was around the time that the game blew me out of the water and really got my attention.

    Chrono Trigger is the first RPG I've been able to finish without having a huge months-long break in the middle because I got bored. And I'm not speaking with Rose-colored glasses, either...I played this on the DS for the first time.

    Simben is officially dead to me. I'll be back later to actually watch these, once it really looks like you're in for the long haul. I wish I could trust you, but I've had my heart broken too many times before.

    If he's a champ, he ends it right then and there. Seeing people backpeddle for the best endings or to erase screw ups isn't fun! And seeing someone play a game for the first time that I personally have seen like almost every ending... that's like, "Okay, where is he going to fork off the beaten path?"

    Don't worry, the Mum. (Like all mum's in RPGs) Is only in it for like 5 minutes in the start and then you never even care shes gone...Is it just me or are all heroes bastards to their parents?.

    1. I fail at doing other british accents as well...I dunno, I probably keep off the high annoying voices from now on.

    On topic. I cant wait to see how you deal with all the madness they throw at you. But please for the love of god finish the LP. My heart cant take anymore :(

    I'm currently in Bath, but normally reside in Stockton near Warminster/Codford. Bethryn is in Norton St. Philip that I think technically sits on the border between somerset and Wilts.

    and don't worry Ill be finishing this off (hopefully getting a good ending in the process, as my grandad used to say; there may be or may not be a god....but stay out of trouble and dont piss the wrong people off and everything will hopefully turn out rosey)

    So is lets play usually old games that can be downloaded? I remember when my brother bought chrono trigger when we were kids. We bought this, mario rpg megaman x3 and kirby dreamland 3 all in one giant go.

    Anyways fuck yeah chrono trigger, my snes is broken but got hte cartridge lawl.

    Since it's your first playthrough on a blind run, rest assured you are very unlikely to get an ending that isn't the "normal" ending.

    Yeah. You pretty much get railroaded to the "normal" ending - you have to make a pretty conscious effort to alter it significantly.
