It was basically the second rifle I ever picked up I think.. We have history.
Really, though, I'm not really that good at processing the stats when I look at them. I usually just do the compare thing and pick the one that has the most green arrows.
Okay, the thread broke me, I'm going to be buying the game.
I can't decide between the PC and the 360 versions. My PC should have no problem running it, but I haven't played a game on my PC since Red Alert 3 came out. I play pretty much everything on the 360.
Is there supposed to be any big differences (Graphics or anything else) between the PC & 360 versions? Which one do you guys recommend?
I'm stuck on a quest. It's the one where you put together the shotgun. We found three of the pieces but the quest marker keeps pointing to the fourth piece because I grabbed them out of order. Anyone know where it is?
Canceled my retail preorder and just bought it on Steam instead. I wanted retail because of the spawn install for LAN play in case no other friends got it, but somehow they all got sold when I described Borderlands to them. :P

I thought the retail version of the game had DRM issues so you couldn't do that stuff.
Is anyone else getting a glitch with Transfusion grenades?
Whenever I throw one, the health never comes back to me, it come back to the person I'm playing offline splitscreen with, even if she's at full health.

Some Gearbox dudes have mentioned spawn installs, but I have yet to hear it mentioned since. So that's another reason for me switching to Steam.

Had my first four player game and it definetly feels like that's how the game was intended. Good times were had and the PA-guys in question are kings amongst men for putting up with my accent.
Man, you didn't say one word when you played with us

Has anyone else had trouble with the mission where you collect parts for a sniper rifle? I know exactly where the objective marker for the body is, but I've searched everywhere around it and can't physically find it.

None of the parts are on the actual marker. All the sniper rifle parts are near that area, so look all around, up on the walkways, around the building, etc. They're all there.

Yes they are, they are all precisely where their marker is, you just aren't looking on all the levels.
sorry to people who couldn't join my game, my friend has a closed nat so when it's more than me and him it wigs out. i'll play with you guys later tonight!
Any one want to play with a 36 soldier? Add verpa 15 and I can join up. If my class mod works like I think it does none of us should ever run out of ammo!

Weird. When I did that mission, there was only one marker in the area. The rifle parts were scattered all around it, and there was no part on the actual marker.

One of the quest pistols has a 12 slot ammo capacity. Yet when you fire the ammo counter never ticks down and the gun never reloads/overheats. You can basically hold the trigger down forever and the gun will continuously fire....forever.

Ive had extensive glitchiness on this quest, and the similar one for revolvers later. If you do some of it in co-op or split screen, you can run into trouble...

I just finished up playing with Antihippy, I went to exit the game, and it just quit out of borderlands entirely. I had just gotten Sledge's hammer, and when I logged back in, I was at the point that was awhile before I even fought Sledge. So angry.

PC is going to have better controls and graphics. That's all I know.

Yeah, that sucks.
Good games though. I have no idea how we actually made it through sledge's area.
edit: also, does brick actually punch people to set them on fire?

I found a siren mod today that gives a total of like +70% team chance to cause elemental effects.
