So frustrated with co-op on split screen being split vertically. How the fuck did that make it past the idea room, let alone thru QA? Am I the only person that hates vertical split screen this much? I'd rather use 1/4 of the screen than take it split like this.
I like it this way. I sit on the left. My wife sits on the right. The whole screen is filled up, and we're both happy.
Coop on my machine is top/bottom. Is this not standard?

Is your screen widescreen or not?
Mine is, so if I flip the options in my dashboard it'll fix this?
edit- it might if I could change the option. Thanks to Microsoft for auto-configuring my widescreen settings, and thanks to Gearbox for auto-configuring my split screen. Guess I'll have to take it off HD? fuuuuck.
I'm level 33 and I'm using a revolver I found on level 24. It does 117x7 damage and a 2.4 zoom. Can't remember the amount of recoil it has but it was significant. Pretty great find for a low level (well, low in terms of the amount of dmg the gun was doing to enemies). I still use my shotty more though. So many great finds!

Level 5 allows you to unlock your character's special ability. Around that time (beating Nine-Toes) you start finding awesome gun crates as well. It just gets better from there.
Also, additional reasons this game kicks ass:
- I actually changed my gamerpic to Mordecai. I never change my gamerpic from the awesome Banjo-Kazooie Stop-n-Swap gamerpic I got.
- The guy at work who hates so many AAA titles is very interested in this game. And I mean he hates a lot of good games (Batman: AA, for example).
i wont' add someone who is higher level than me, as a 7, but i will gladly play up if invited, I will gladly play with anyone lower than me, and invite them, that's my rule and I'm sticking to it
I have a gun that starts enemies on fire, and I really think that's awesome
I think the worst part about my wait for the PC version is that I played it on the 360 for a few hours at a friends house on Tuesday and had a freakin' blast.
So when do I get to respec? Assasin for lilith looks like ass to be honest.

Whenever you want, at a New-U station. The full ones, not the little beacons that you can't interact with.
Lillith can do some CRAZY shit, specced right. I specced her controller-heavy for the last battle, pumping up her duration of phasewalk and killing her cooldown as best I could. I could recover huge swaths of HP, be more or less invulnerable, and spew acid onto everything, as well as guaranteed daze against any mundane enemies no higher than my own level.
Got to mess around with this a bit today, and next thing I know it's 10:30 PM. Jesus this is addictive. Also scored a really nice shotgun right off the bat, haven't switched for 12 levels. Enjoy the hell out of this.
Got my first Legendary. It's uh, it's pretty good.
BLOODY EQUALIZER
Revolver more powerful than my sniping arsenal, kinda low accuracy and only two shots BUT +10 ammo regen. It actually has pretty good reload speed as well, but i can't outrun the regen.

And it'll always be a shooter. Seems to open up quite a bit after awhile though.

I might swap out elemental for controller though.
I just fought scar as well second winded a couple of times off of the feral skags that were with him and the loot he dropped was lame.
