Sorry bout that guys apparently Shaw were fixing something in the area cos everything, wired and wireless, went off! EVERYTHING, phones, tv, internet...it was weird they got us back up but ??????o_O
I have that same monitor. The red light means its on.
Edit - Well ok checking it. The light is on almost constantly. When you turn it off it stays on. Because thats where you slide your finger over the sensor, which would be difficult to see without light. The only time that light turns off is when it flashes booting up.
fyre i feel a wager must be placed
if the leaked images are real you must eat no less than one thousand jackal dicks
or touch gabe newell's sack after an aerobics sesh
choose wisely
Honestly I'm not entirely sold, now. The images seem to be very consciously not showing the hard drive end of the systems. The ends that would prove that they're devkits.
Anyone with an elementary knowledge of 3D modelling could knock up something to look like Halo in a blurry screenshot if they wanted. The proto-laser in particular looks like this.
We'll know in what, three months?

A new picture was added to the neogaf thread, that supposedly confirms they're real. I'm not sure how they do this, but I'm not really into the whole leaked screenshots identification scene.

So I've owned Halo 3 since midnight launch 2 years ago, but I've just gotten around to actually playing it now. My little brother has thrashed the disk in the meantime to the point that it was unreadable by the system. I was able to fix it with a hand-crank resurfacing wheel and everything's fine now. Anyway I have a couple of questions.
I'm going to be playing through the campaign so I can crack open my ODST and play through that as well. I'll be playing through Legendary with a friend online. Should I turn on Campaign scoring? What is that all about? Also with ODST since it comes with all the Halo 3 map packs for free how do you unlock those map packs? Just stick the disk in and they unlock, or do I have to keep the ODST disk in?
Campaign scoring is just a nice metagame for playing through. It tracks your kills, how you got them, and how quickly you got them, and gives you a score. The better you do, the higher your score. There are achievements associated with them and if you want you can compete with your friends for them, but no-one does.
The ODST multiplayer disc has all the maps on the disc. You can't export them. When you pop it in your drive, it'll recognise it as a Halo 3 disc and it'll operate just like it, only without the campaign. If you want to play multiplayer (and not co-op) in Halo 3, you should use this disc if you have it. If you want to use the Heroic, Legendary or Mythic maps with your original Halo 3 disc, you have to buy them from Marketplace, and even then, the ODST disc has three maps you can't get anywhere else.
Short version: You need the ODST disc in to use all the map packs, and the campaign scoring is almost entirely useless.

Edit 2 - Picture
Steam | Live
doesn't explain the inconsistent FOV angles and the fact the game is randomly deciding to have and not have a safe area
and the fact that Reach is only inside bungie, no MGS employees would be playing it and even be able to have a cell phone on them
Previous edit may have slipped by unnoticed.

a bunch of other stuff leads me to believe it's fake anyway, i forgot to write up why though, i will later
Also yeah none of the 360s are devkits, and the one end of one you can see has no HDD at all.
On the other hand even if they are real, the game isn't final in any way shape or form so everything would be preliminary graphics

FATTY.
Shame employees of game studios are fucks sometimes.
EDIT: Also, Bungie mass banning anyone mentioning Reach screens is a very calm, logical way to go about things.
OH sorry, I thought you meant a new post at NeoGaf, not the same post edited.
