I remember someone suggesting that the banners should be saved and thrown up for auction for Child's Play....

    Didn't want to do 4 separate auctions. It was either all 4 in one, or do an auction for the winners choice of banner.
    Decided to do all 4 in one auction.

    You tempt me Red! =) I wish I had monies for this.

    Red, if you can rescue the banners from PAX East, I'll start saving now to bid on them. But right now I don't have nearly enough to stand a chance of winning these ones... I think the current bid is already more than I could afford at the moment, though it is an EXTREMELY good price for them... hell, even at 10x its current bid price (or more!) it would be awesome. People better start bidding! =)

    On that last note, anyone who has money and loves PAX and Child's Play should be looking at that price as an absolute steal: remember, you're getting all four of them! Put in your freakin' bids! =)=)

    I'm not gonna go any higher than what I am already, although it is a little disconcerting that I'm still the highest bidder. I wouldn't want to kill it with shipping anyway. It would be nice though. I might see if I can nab one of next years early, I'd give my left nut for a 'Welcome Home' one.

    I'm happy the price broke $150, but still disappointed I won't win. I had plans for those banners. I wasn't going to put BigRed through shipping them to Australia. I was going to have a competition (with Childs Play benefiting again) with them as prizes. here's a hint of what I was going to do -

    I wonder if Mike and Jerry would be interested in mentioning the auction? It seems like the banners could potentially go for much more dough if more people knew about it. Red, have you thought of telling them about the auction? I bet they'd love it! =)

    I tried before i put the auction up. Also tried to get a signing. Nogo, just had to do the auction. It was mentioned on the official child's play charity twitter (@CPCharity) though.
