The Guiding Principles and New Rules document is now in effect.
So, i just upgraded to W7 with the new student deal for 30 dollars.
After 2 years with the abomination that was vista im ready to really enjoy and get the most out of an operating system, with that said, i dont really know what i should be doing to get the most out of it.
So denizens of the H/A forum, can you point me in the direction of making sure im using W7 to the fullest?
Cool things you can do:
If you have multiple screens open, you can use the mouse to "shake" one screen and it will minimize all other screens and if you "shake" it again the screens will reappear.
If you drag screens next to each other they will lock together allowing you to have easier side-by-side comparisons.
Next to the date/time is a little rectangle, if you click it will bring up your desktop, click it again to bring up whatever screen you had before.
That's just some of the things off the top of my head. And of course there's the pin programs to the taskbar feature.

i am loving the new task bar so far
middle-clicking aero preview views generated by the superbar closes that window
handy to know
Some things that are especially convenient: Win+up maximizes, Win+down minimizes, Win+space turns all your windows invisible.
And come on, Vista wasn't that bad.
