chili is fine with beans
it's usually better without (but of course there can be chili without beans that's still bad)
but there's nothing wrong with putting beans in chili
stop being retards
I made it for dinner last night substituting blanched spinach for the sugar snap peas. Simple but very tasty.
I would recommend you follow the instruction to take the balsamic syrup off the heat while you finish everything else and then reheat it later to add the butter. Leaving it on the heat with the butter will result in the butter eventually separating out.
I have a fair amount of tilapia sitting in my freezer so I think tonight I'll dredge some in some butter and blackening spices and sear that shit on a real hot skillet for some blackened fish
anyone here know any good recipes with canned tuna and pasta
i usually just stir fry it quickly in garlic and oil and dump that on top
seems like more could be done
Fry it in garlic, minced onions, and olive oil until it browns a bit, deglaze with a little white wine. Thrown in a can of diced tomatoes, liquid and all. Add some salt, pepper, and herbs of your choice.
Let it cook on medium-low heat for 20 minutes or so. Serve over pasta.

I guard my cast iron skillet almost as close as my manhood. Had it for 5 years and it's just starting to finally get a good solid nonstick that won't go away.
then one evening I forget to put it away, wake up the next morning to someone making eggs in it.
*twitch* alright, I say... just make sure you DON'T WASH IT.
Of course, this person, being a nice guy, decides to thoroughly scrub it with soap and water to get all that grease out...:x

Don't wash it you tool
Heat it up, toss in some salt, swish it around, toss in some water, back off so you don't burn your face off, dump it out.
Let it cool. Wipe out anything remaining with paper towel and put it back in the cabinet
sweet

i had no idea how to take care of them
I think I need to give it a light scrub and start anew with the seasoning process. Urgh.
Do you reseason it at least once a year?
It helps and eventually your pot is almost completely nonstick.

I picked up an Iraqi cookbook, and have made some stuff out of it. It turns out that Iraqi food is delicious.
