Picked up Demon souls as it had been a relatively slow game month for me. Got a good ways through it then ....
I bought Uncharted 2 and Brutal legend on the same day....thinking that I would have time to beat them both and get back to Demon souls before Ratchet and clank came out today.
As many others, i got utterly enthralled by Uncharted. After beating it on normal, i realized that My uncharted 1 saves had no trophies because support was added later. So i just had to play through Uncharted 1 on crushing and get all the treasures. Then went back and played through uncharted 2 again on hard. Then gave the multi-player a try. Brutal Legend, still in the box at this point. I finally managed to pull away long enough to tinker with BL, but then Best buy has the buy 2 get one free sale....so i pick up Borderlands, HaloODST, and CoD4.
I started playing Borderlands sunday night...having lots of fun.
Today Ratchet and clank comes out.
I havent even though about Dragon Age. and i can't believe im saying this but im damn glad Bioshock 2 got pushed back.
Too many games, too little time.
Posts
Just cancelled my preorder. I was getting the 360 version first and eventually the PC version when it started to get old and I wanted to play mods and such, but fuck that.
More time for Borderlands.
The Raid
...in awesome!
I actually want Modern Warfare 2 but just not sure how I will find time for it... ug.
Just take an evening out for the campaign, they tend to be quite short but awesome.
I'm one of the few people on the planet who just isn't that interested in either Uncharted 2 or Modern Warfare 2. As a result, Assassin's Creed 2 is pretty much the only must have game for me at this point.
That said, I'll admit that I'm casting covetous glances at Dragon Age as well.
i also have to renew my gold membership, which costs as much as a game
You're far from it, friend.
The Raid
Ah, but I wasn't interested in it before this dedicated server matter came up. I know that Modern Warfare 2 is - or was for some people - insanely popular because not only is my local HMV doing a midnight opening for it, but they're releasing it on the Tuesday night to boot. That's very, very unusual here in England. Games normally hit on the Friday.
EDIT: Removed what might have been an inappropiate smilie. Last thing I want to do is offend anyone.
Fallout 3 : Game of the Year edition
Batman
Brutal Legend
Forza 3
Fuck whatever else is coming out this year.
Steam ID : rwb36, Twitter : Werezompire,
Unlike last year where it was three months straight of good games just being pumped out.
I already got Brutal Legend, Operation Flashpoint, NHL'10 (the only sports franchise I ever loved), Borderlands, Uncharted 2. So my backlog should hold me over for a while.
Uncharted 2
Fallout 3: GOTY
Forza 3
Demon Soul's
Blaze Blue
Borderlands
Dragon Age
Operation Flashpoint: Dragon Rising
Mount & Blade
And then in a couple weeks
Modern Warfare 2
Lego Rock Band (songs)
New Mario Bros Wii
And I think thats it. That I have planned....I kinda want to go back to Best Buy and get some more cheaper games I glanced over awhile back.
Fuck I have toooooo much free time and spending money.
But don't forget to save onto some of your holiday spending cash for Spring 2010...
Trust me.

Critical Failures - Havenhold Campaign • August St. Cloud (Human Ranger)
yea this years holiday rush is gonna last through next summer
Right now i just finished up about 200 mods of elder scrolls oblivion + about 10 mods that are actual questlines worth following. Then i moved on to finishing far cry 2. Now im back to my old addiction: 20 hour long civ 4 games.
And really i have only Assassins Creed 2 and Dragon Age as must buys, with a probably for the new Mario for some living room fun.
Its nice to look forward to living room fun.
I mean, I only own a Wii and will pick up between 2-4 games that week.
And also just not having to go to work or shave.
For time reasons I've got Uncharted 2 and will be good until Dragon Age comes out, but as of, well, a couple weeks ago I realized that I have a 'future backlog,' something I've not had before. I want to play Fallout3 GOTY, Demon's Souls, Batman, and will probably be very interested in numerous games coming out between now and Xmas.
edit: And yeah, don't even get me started on next Spring.
Nice backlog you've built up there. Seriously, there's no point in buying so many games when there's no way you can possible dedicate time to all of them. You save a lot of money when they drop down in price, too.
(Although I thought Bioshock was a touch overrated...)
any game with as much hype as bioshock will seem overrated. it just happens that it was really awesome so no one cared. portal, on the other hand...
Well originally I thought it was MW2, but that's the week before. There's still Left for Dead 2, New Super Mario Bros. Wii, Resident Evil Darkside Chronicles, God of War Collection,Lego Indiana Jones 2: The Adventure Continues,NCAA Basketball 10, and a few other minor titles that I'm interested in.
Yeah, it is.
The games that I can think of coming out in Spring 2010 are:
Spring 2010:
Red Steel 2
Mass Effect 2
BioShock 2
God of War 3
Alan Wake
Heavy Rain
APB (maybe)
No More Heroes 2 Desperate Struggle
Bayonetta
Miles Edgeworth Perfect Prosecutor
Dante's Inferno
Sin and Punishment 2
Mafia II
Capcom v. Tatsunoko
FFXIII (pre-april '10... if we're lucky)
Lost Planet 2
Alpha Protocol
Cho Aniki Zero
Pokemon HeartGold and SoulSilver
Super Street Fighter IV
MAG (maybe, according to Sony financial)
Brink (Splash Damage / Bethesda game)
LBP for PSP
Infinite Space (for NDS)
Sony Motion wand
If my sources are right on release dates for those, anyway.

Well most of it has been sales and a couple of those games I know won't be going down in price like normal. This month has been crazy on new game sales.
It is getting horrible for me though. Its almost like I'm thinking "Hey that will look nice on the shelf after after I play the tutorial!"
Maybe if i eliminate sleeping.....
I am however really itching for Borderlands and L4D2 for some reason. NSMB will be bought on release date of course for the family and I will have to get Lego RB at some point also.
The new ones are by the new author, right, since RJ passed away?
Maybe the new ones will actually get back to being fun to read, unlike the recent WOT books.
After the fourth some odd book, story progression in the series began to move at a snail's pace.
I take that back, as analogizing WOT's recent story progression to moving as slow as a snail is insulting to snails everywhere.

Oh....its on.
Don't be putting down Brandon Sanderson.
Hes like someone threw together Middle earth and the Marvel Universe.
