I do not like the Mister Klug
I do not like fried mush and nug. . .
Not the whole poem. Prepare to be knocked out of your chair. Also some choice haikus there.

Just bought the digital deluxe pre-order from Steam, pre-loading now \o/. I couldn't help myself, despite my checking account having a cool 80 bucks in it (before the purchase). Oh well, my check hits the bank tomorrow :P
I remember reading that if you set your cheeks and things first and then click, not drag, the beard slider to where you want it, the cheeks stay the same.
I don't know if that's true because I kind of think the beards all look horrible, so I don't use them. But I do remember reading that.
The preset faces with beards all have normal looking cheeks, but if I change anything they automatically go to the lowest cheek setting. It looks weird. Is there a way to circumvent that?
After you got the face the way you liked. Save him (this is my recommendation in case you mess up the next step).
Once you got him looking the way you want and are going to add a beard. Make sure you select precisely on the slider or else it will make the cheeks gaunts (etc.)
In other words you can only put on a beard once without it changing how you look. So if you move from goatee to sideburns it will change.
Changing hair color or anything of that sort will also set off the gaunt thing. This after adding the beard.
Awesome, thanks. I don't know why, I think beards look good in a fantasy setting.
Amazon's gonna need to pull off a goddamn miracle for them to get it here tomorrow for release day delivery. They haven't even shipped it yet.
Mine is one-day, and it's been stuck on "We are preparing these items for shipment" for two days now. I was hoping it would ship out today and I'd get it tomorrow. Maybe there's still time. Or perhaps what they say on the site and what the actual status is is a little delayed. I guess I'll just do some more hoping!
Yeah, my order isn't even locked from editing yet, which means they haven't even started to process it. I think I'll complain and hope for some credit. I still need to finish borderlands anyway
They are doing an incredible job of creating a world history here. It's almost like GRRM's novels where they only tended to focus on Westeros, and you were clamoring to read about the other lands - this is whats going on here. Ferelden is an awesome place, but the way they are hyping up the history of the other lands
especially the Tiventirum Imperium - pretty much the folks responsible for the Blight centuries ago

I got my "item has shipped" email from Amazon rather late this evening. Then again, I always do get the notifications fairly late in the evening the day before the game is to arrive, and yet I always do actually get the games on the release date - Amazon is pretty good about knowing which areas they can reach in a single day by using the right shipping center and either UPS or this A1 courier service they seem to be using more often for quick deliveries lately.
I think I just had a heart attack. Amazon just e-mailed me to say my order shipped, and the tracking information says next day air. So I would assume I'll get it tomorrow?

Yes
They've never failed me on release date delivery, and I've had at least 6 games come that way this year.

It is true and it does work.
And beards are awesome.
That's not a beard at all.
Well if you want to be lame about it technically it's a mustache with chops and a soul patch, but it's close enough to a beard to just call it a beard.

I was going to grab this on PS3, but I've decided it can wait for my new PC. I want to play this as intended.

how long until the DA fireball equivalent is found i wonder
...you mean the spell Fireball? That is the third Spell in the Fire line?
no i mean the game breaking fireball from BG when you could just cast it, not provoke many baddies, then pick them off. Game breaking but sometimes necessary if you didn't like reloading every 2 seconds (damn you, beholders!).
They had originally told me it would arrive on the 5th, so imagine my surprise when it now says it'll arrive tomorrow. Fuck yeah! I'm going to revert to a 12-year-old when I have it in my hands. BioWare is one of the few developers to really make me giddy like that.

Beholders are easy if you have a certain shield. Or like almost everything in the game if you abuse cloudkill.
I have to say, this is a bit late but, going through Dragon Age Journeys to get the extra helm is a pain in the ass
Are you kidding me? It's beyond a pain the ass. That one achievement where you have to beat the game three times as each of the classes already make it not worth the time.

Just figure out where on the slider sideburns are, and then just click on (as opposed to gliding your way there)- if that makes sense.
My log in name? Is wheatthlns. I'm not too sure how that social network site works to be honest.
It doesn't work at all so far. Either they are doing last minute maintenance to get ready for tomorrow or it is already getting slammed.

Makes you want that expansion right now.

That's a moustache.
I was speaking in general since people want beards.
You can't have a grizzled warrior without him having a thick beard.
Preferably littered with the gibs of those who once opposed him.
I'm specifically thinking of Warden's Keep, but Shale's DLC just occurred to me as well.

It makes me sad that you've never experienced first hand an amazing beard, moustache or combo. I will admit they are very rare though.

I was a fool to think a woman could ever understand.
Now I'm sad that I'm unable to grow a decent beard/moustache. I should probably spend more time roaming the wilderness.

I envy you. Ultima Online, Neverwinter Nights and Fable 1 drained me of that giddiness.
Or the ability to get giddy I should say...
Not to shatter your hopes and dreams, but...well, my Amazon order shipped from New Castle, Delaware.
They got pills for that, you know. :winky:

Yeah, I just called it quits after the first 2 unlocks. I'm not going through that again twice for a silly helm.
