Just figure out where on the slider sideburns are, and then just click on (as opposed to gliding your way there)- if that makes sense.

Just bought the digital deluxe pre-order from Steam, pre-loading now \o/. I couldn't help myself, despite my checking account having a cool 80 bucks in it (before the purchase). Oh well, my check hits the bank tomorrow :P

It doesn't work at all so far. Either they are doing last minute maintenance to get ready for tomorrow or it is already getting slammed.

The preset faces with beards all have normal looking cheeks, but if I change anything they automatically go to the lowest cheek setting. It looks weird. Is there a way to circumvent that?

After you got the face the way you liked. Save him (this is my recommendation in case you mess up the next step).

Once you got him looking the way you want and are going to add a beard. Make sure you select precisely on the slider or else it will make the cheeks gaunts (etc.)

In other words you can only put on a beard once without it changing how you look. So if you move from goatee to sideburns it will change.

Changing hair color or anything of that sort will also set off the gaunt thing. This after adding the beard.

Awesome, thanks. I don't know why, I think beards look good in a fantasy setting.

Amazon's gonna need to pull off a goddamn miracle for them to get it here tomorrow for release day delivery. They haven't even shipped it yet.

Mine is one-day, and it's been stuck on "We are preparing these items for shipment" for two days now. I was hoping it would ship out today and I'd get it tomorrow. Maybe there's still time. Or perhaps what they say on the site and what the actual status is is a little delayed. I guess I'll just do some more hoping!

Yeah, my order isn't even locked from editing yet, which means they haven't even started to process it. I think I'll complain and hope for some credit. I still need to finish borderlands anyway

They are doing an incredible job of creating a world history here. It's almost like GRRM's novels where they only tended to focus on Westeros, and you were clamoring to read about the other lands - this is whats going on here. Ferelden is an awesome place, but the way they are hyping up the history of the other lands
especially the Tiventirum Imperium - pretty much the folks responsible for the Blight centuries ago

Makes you want that expansion right now.

I got my "item has shipped" email from Amazon rather late this evening. Then again, I always do get the notifications fairly late in the evening the day before the game is to arrive, and yet I always do actually get the games on the release date - Amazon is pretty good about knowing which areas they can reach in a single day by using the right shipping center and either UPS or this A1 courier service they seem to be using more often for quick deliveries lately.

So, the DLC for the Deluxe version of Dragon Age on Steam. Can we assume that's downloaded with the pre-load, or do we pick that up later somehow?

I'm specifically thinking of Warden's Keep, but Shale's DLC just occurred to me as well.

Well if you want to be lame about it technically it's a mustache with chops and a soul patch, but it's close enough to a beard to just call it a beard.
