Race is up! Take a Ferrari or Lamborghini to A600 class, no restrictions on upgrades.

Should be interesting. The people who brought Californias to Basticle's race last week already have a car ready.

I might be up for this. I wonder if anyone's going to be crazy enough to upgrade a Dino all the way up to A.

Leave it RWD and invest all of the upgrades into the engine.

Since I already had the A600 California from last week, I decided to test out a Murcielago. It drives so much nicer than the Ferrari. And it's 30mph faster at the top end.

Still think one of the lightweight Ferrari's would be better.

Is there anyway to find out what the downforce for a stock car is?

Like, a nascar stock car, or any unmodified car?

Because for the nascar ones, just bring up the tuning screen and go to aero.

For an unmodified car, there is no way to tell. It's by far the biggest weaknesses of Forza tuning.. no access to the drag coefficient is a major pain in the ass.

You can probably look up the drag coefficient for real world cars with google, but this assumes Forza uses the value accurately. We have no real information how the game actually handles air, so it's all a bunch of finger wiggling.

Also, I think I'll work on firing up a new Forza thread since I just noticed we're on page 100.

I was wondering about that, I've noticed threads have a 100 page cap.

Crossing my fingers about Thursday - I'm tuning up regardless. I have a strong aversion to Ferrari and Lamborghini, so this is a nice chance to race one without feeling too dirty about it afterward.

Great machines, but I just can't help feeling silly driving one in FM3. They feel almost cliche, such the obvious sports car choice in my mind; but I don't fault a dude for loving them. Go figure.

If you're wanting to know downforce for those suspension calculators, unless you can actually adjust it in the tuning menu, assume it's 0. If not, I doubt you'll find any reliable source for that info for most cars.
