For dinner I had the best burrito that I have had in a long time. I tried out some place new and was pleasantly surprised. Some asshole drove his car through the place that I usually go to.
Papa John's is the best big pizza chain
Then Domino's, then Pizza Hut
They all vary by location. But in general, Papa John's is the most consistently high quality. Although sometimes they do a poor job with the crust and it's all hard and bleh.
Man we've got this locally owned (or at least I assume it is) by here called Slice It and they're so fucking good. But I never see anyone there and am terrified they're going to go out of business.
Then we've also got a place called Roma Oven which has a huge damn oven inside and makes the most incredible thin-crust pizzas in the world.
Basically the point of this post is that the big pizza chains can suck it next to locally owned.

PIE, Pie by the Pound
I paid seven and change bucks for two really tasty slices of pizza and a Blue Moon.
In New York that is a deal.
