Problems accessing some webpages or website features

For a few days now my computer has been unable to access certain websites or parts of websites. For example, I can't post on (any) forums, and I can't log in to my hotmail account.
I've reinstalled my wireless drivers, and that doesn't seem to have helped. My brother, on the same network, isn't having these problems. I've recently installed a new antivirus program (Norton internet security 2010), but my brother is using the same program and again, he isn't having the same problems.
I probably won't be able to reply to this thread tonight, but if I can I'll post again ASAP. Any idea what might be causing this?
