ALERT: Catastophic Bug in Dragon Age Character Creator

Please be VERY VERY VERY careful when uninstalling the Dragon Age Character Creator from your machine. After it does the install it will say it has "an install file in the directory do you want me to delete it?" If you click yes it will delete EVERYTHING in the directory that you installed the character creator in. People who installed it in their Program Folder had everything in the Program Folder DELETED from their machine. Fortunately I had mine in a "Games" folder on my D drive so I "ONLY" lost all of my installed games and most of my saved games from EVERY game I have ever played in this machine.

PLEASE be careful when using the character creator and you might want to do as I did and rethink my purchase of this game. Simply unbelievable, and they have a 60 page post about it without getting word out to people who might have this happen to them.

Unacceptable...

    I can't find anything about this anywhere else. There is no thread in the Dragon Age Forums about it and your post is the only thing that google shows.

    Yeah, I just did an experiment and was able to uninstall my character creator without a hitch. Nothing else in my Program Files(x86) folder was touched. I was also able to reinstall it and have my character files still there and waiting for Tuesday.

    I'd say your's was a very isolated incident.

    They're the sort who deserve that kind of retribution.

    Anyways, what the flying fuck? I was initially suspicious, but I chose to wait until I'd seen a few responses to say: who lies about something like this?
