Ok guys, only 5 games left to play. All involving Bubesteak. I'll send a message off to Regulus right now telling him to organize something. You can do the same Bubesteak just to get in touch with him. We're so so so close.
Question: Could we set a date to begin the next season by? Give people some time of course to play their games, but also some motivation to get them done by. We can also start another season while this one is going on, correct?
Just an idea. Mainly because I want to play. Having my game not work for so long makes me want to get back in the groove. That is assuming I ever had a groove. Maybe I should watch how Stella got her's back...

I read a bit about shooting low and going for rebounds and such but I am more wondering where the "sweet spots" are to shoot from.
Also is it possible to make my own pro with my own name and stuff? Am I a retard for not being able to figure out how to do this?

To change your players name to yours go to "My Pro" and go to the hockey shop. Just move the tabs over and you will see a place where you can edit name and what not.
As far as scoring, I have had and still do have similar issues. What helped me a lot is creating some plays and running those. Things like cross crease are pretty good bets, big slap shits from the point with traffic, and I get a lot of good looks from skating into the zone, going across the middle and firing a shot far side. With the goalie going the other way he rarely ever makes a good save, giving up a rebound or a goal right away.

The thing I would do is going into practice mode and learn how to wrist shot properly. If your guy is right handed, move the right-stick to the right and then pull back on the stick. If you do it right, you will see your player curl the puck behind his body. After that, move the stick forward and he will fire a harder wrist shot.
This will make it harder for the goalie to read and allow extra rebounds.
Just reverse it if they are lefty.
Also try getting it back to the point and fire it low for deflection when there is traffic in front.
After playing some games alone and getting a hat trick in one game and 2 goals and 2 assists on my be a pro, I think the problem may have been the guy that was playing on my team with me :winky:
