    okay, so I got to about level 15 before I had to go to work, last night. for a while, my favourite things were to burst people's heads open with the sniper rifle and setting people on fire.

    Then I started finding weapons that let me do both at the same time.

    so much fun.

    I never notice those elemental burst shields activating.


    Some nice shields are the ones that increase your health bar. I've found one that increases your health by 60%.

    I don't use health regen shields

    not when my murderbird gives me 35% of the damage he deals back as health
    oh and he does 1800+ damage to six dudes 8-)

    Well I'm brick so the only time I'll be regenning is punching dudes

    My fire wave shield does set skags and psychos alight and gets me out of some jams so it is cool. That along with emergency turret. WHAM

    But it is now rated a bit lower than my current 18th level.

    But I am in the market for a good health regen shield for when I can't set up my feel-good turret.

    The turret shields sure are useless. It'd be nice of the final talent of the Support tree boosted them in some way.

    my other rifle has 'a true hunter lives in the stars' so it shoots bullets that ricochet and split into three bullets and explode into lightning

    Got this yesterday for the PC, and man I'm loving it so far. I just want to thank the OP of the previous thread for convincing me to buy the game. Tried out Lilith, Mordecai, and Brick so far. The others seemed ok but once I hit lvl 5 and saw the grunting and laughing punchmachine start up I just couldn't stop. I don't think I'll ever get tired of just smashing everything into little giblets. Just finished the Sledge fight on first runthrough and it was so sad. 20 second punchfrenzy. Fists > big honking hammer.

    Going for a berserk/tank build for maximum hilarity.

    I might respec for that later, but I'm currently pretty intrigued by the possible synergies between various things in the tank and berserk trees. Does anyone know what's up with the final skill of the tank tree? It seems like it could be completely broken with the various elemental nova on depleting shields. Does it have a cooldown or something?
